ZEBRA LEARNS A LESSON

A zebra and an elephant were best friends. They always played together. Zebra had a bad habit. Whenever they played together, zebra always left her toys on the playground. 

Every time elephant took her toys and gave her back the next day.

 That evening was elephant’s birthday party. Zebra bought a cute toy as a gift for elephant. All of elephant’s friends came to the party. 

 But zebra did not come on time. It was getting late. Elephant was waiting for her best friend. At last she came. 

 Elephant asked, “Why are you late?”

 Zebra said, “I am sorry my friend. I don’t know where I kept your gift.”

Elephant cut the cake and everyone gave her gifts. But zebra did not. She forgot where she had kept the gift. She felt ashamed. 

Elephant came to the sad zebra and said, “Promise me you will always keep things in right place. This is your gift to me”

 Zebra smiled and said, “I promise.”

 They all enjoyed the birthday party together.
