Window's Shadow

I was sitting on my couch and I was about to turn on the TV. I then spotted a shady reflection on the window. I was always scared of the night times, especially when I am almost starting to watch a horror show. I realized that watching “Shhh...phir koi hai..” is not a good idea now, especially after I spotted that weird looking reflection on my window.

I turned on the lights, drank some water and planned to watch Tom and Jerry instead. I was having a fun time watching those two fight again and yet showing love for each other in a time of need. Meanwhile, I heard some noises in the kitchen. I could hear the vessels rumbling. The cold breeze was making a sound of itself.

The thought of watching a horror show ever again scared me already. I wanted to rush to mom, sleep beside her but didn’t want to disturb her as she was already asleep.



I was trying to take control of myself, and kept repeating to myself, “Darr ke aage jeet hai…”. I went to the window to check what truly was the reflection all about. As I neared to it, I saw that it was a reflection of the lamp post with textures of the leaves from the nearby trees.

Although I was totally frightened to go any near the window, it was worth realising that ‘it was nothing'.
