Unknown Love From An Unknown

I was in the car, stuck in the traffic jam, late for office. I was about half an hour late for office. I was being scolded by the boss. And so I had to work 9 instead of 7. When I reached home my parents asked why I was late and I told them everything. But I was shocked that it happened to me for about 1 weak. One day I saw an old lady asking for help on the road, I really wanted to help her but I was already late so I couldn't help her. The next day I saw that the same woman was shifting to the flat just in front of me. I was shocked that she has even reached my doorstep but I was happy that now we have a good neighbour.

The next day she invited me and my family for dinner at her home was glad that she has led a hand for friendship to us. I really enjoyed the dinner and while we were eating she was telling her old stories of her childhood that how she used to climb the tree for mangoes and torchered the neighbours by her jokes which weren't funny at all and even bunking her maths class. We used to invite her for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was very friendly with her, I never felt that she was not a part of our family.

One day she was acting very scared and clumsy, when I asked her that its just normal but I was sure that something had happened. At night when I came from the office, I went to her home and asked her again and again, if something had happened to her. And at last, she said that someone has threatened her that he is going to kill her if she doesn't give them 2 lakh rupees and told her not to tell anybody. I was very shocked that something like this could ever happen to her. And I quickly called the police and helped her, she was very happy that I helped her and she told us that she has been abandoned by her children. And we adopted her and now she is a part of our family.
