In everyone’s life, there is someone whom we will love the most but never get a chance to say it. Just like any other guy, this is a true story of my friend who met someone. I want to tell how this person had lived this long, having someone in life who backstabbed him and his divine love remained forever for her till the end.

Long time ago, there was a boy and a girl in school. The guy name was Sahil and the girl’s name was Manisha. Sahil was extremely hardworking, sincere in his goals but very shy and quiet type person whereas Manisha was an adorable, sweet-natured girl and completely outspoken. They both were in the same class but never talked to each other. One day both were going with their friends. they clashed but didn’t say sorry to each other. This was their first encounter together, The very next day, he and his friends were playing basketball and by mistake, the ball got hit by Sahil to one of the Manisha’s friends. She started yelling at him saying that it is not a mistake as he did it intentionally. A fight of words broke out between them, after that day, they both kept ignoring each other whenever they met. A few days later, the whole class were having their period a dance class at their main school auditorium, they all had to practice on a romantic song and for that, partners were made. Unexpectedly, Manisha and Sahil were made partners.

At first, the flames of hatred evolved but due to dance, they started coming closer to each other. It is said that dance can bring closer to two persons and the same thing happened. After that, when the dance was about to get over, Manisha’s foot slipped, she was about to fall from the stage where she was standing but Sahil caught her and saved from falling down. The whole class kept hooting at this. They both blushed a bit. After the class, Manisha wanted to say thanks to Sahil, she started walking towards him.

One of Sahil’s friends watched her approaching and they all made an excuse to leave them to talk. After a couple of minutes, they had a conversation and agreed to become friends. They didn’t know what fate had for them in store. From enemies to friends and now two years had passed, They were like an inseparable duo. They used to have a lot of fun together until one day their story took a twist. Sahil started liking Manisha but couldn’t say to her due to his shy nature. One fine day, he asked Manisha that what will happen if he tells her that he likes her ?. She replied back with a smile, it’s okay if we remain as friends only. He didn’t get convinced and told himself that someday he will confess his feelings.

A few months later, the day when Sahil decided to express his feelings, Manisha got proposed that very same day by one of her male friends and she said yes. He didn’t know about this and openly commented - Manisha, I love You on her facebook timeline. Hoping to get a happy reply, Manisha quietly asked Sahil to meet tomorrow. He thought that might be she’ll be interested and wanted to give reply but she started yelling and shouting tomorrow. She had gone committed and didn’t want him to be considered for even second thoughts. She warned him never to meet her again. Friendship got broke, they never saw each other even in class, nor after passing out of school.

School life was over now and they both went on to their separate ways. In life, when one phase ends, another begins. He went to Bangalore for higher studies, leaving everything and everyone behind. Here were some friends of his with whom he shared his most of the time. Now new city, new people, everything had been exciting. He had a good friend who helped him in school and to survive in this new city, He went on to get a job at a bakery shop. One day while travelling for work purpose, Sahil bumped into a girl with his vehicle. She slapped him and said’ Can’t you see while driving ?. And for the next 20 minutes, a quarrel of words kept going on within them. Due to this small incident, The delivery got late and Sahil got scolded for his work.

This all got over and at night, Sahil received a call for one of his friends to get a drink at a night bar. He refused and kept watching a movie late at night. During the movie, a scene came when the girl and boy kissed each other. When he saw this scene, for a few moments, Sahil went into a flashback as to how he met Manisha. Tears started coming out of his eyes. Seeing this, one of his friends Avinash who used to stay with him at his flat, woke up at that moment, didn’t said anything, kept watching him. He understood something is going on in his mind.

The next day, when the other roommates were about to leave for college, Sahil was still asleep, so they all decided to let him sleep. Avinash woke up Sahil and made him realize about the time. As he was already late, He decided to drop him at college. In the car, Avinash and Sahil had a little talk. At first, Sahil didn’t want to talk about it but then he told him to tell him the whole story. Sahil disclosed all his secrets about the grudges he was holding inside. While he told him everything, the college came and he went inside.

As he entered the class, what he sees is that class had already been started and he was extremely late. After his classes got over, Sahil went to the library for some work. As he turned around to go back, the same girl who slapped her was behind. They both again faced each other, saw each other with shock and realized they both are in the same college.

One of his friends went inside to call Sahil as he had some work with him and saw that he is talking to a girl whom he knew. While the quarrel of words was going on, his friend came and told him that he is his sister. They both told the whole story to him about how they met and afterward, as it all got settled down, they agreed to forgive each other and part their own ways. A few minutes later, Sahil received a call from his boss, the bakery shop. As he picks up the phone, the boss was extremely angry and didn’t realized it was the time of his shift. This was the second time that he was late. At this scene, on that very moment, he got fired on phone. This was his worst day ever. At first, getting up late, Flashback of her memories with Avinash, coming late to class, quarreling with a girl and losing his job. It felt like all bad things were happening with him the same day.

Irritated by all these things revolving around his mind, he and his friends reached their flat. It seemed quite darker than usual that day. As they came inside, what they see is that Avinash was reading a diary. No one realized what was it. So they asked him and he told that it was Sahil’s diary. He was outside standing at the balcony calling his parents while his friends read everything what he wrote on that. His past with Manisha, how he is feeling inside, everything about him. He also told them about what he saw last night, the movie scene incident.

As Sahil started coming inside the room, they immediately hid the diary. Without even saying a word, he took dinner and slept early that night. When we woke up, he didn’t saw anyone around, nor Avinash was there. As he saw the time, he wasn’t even late. Then he checked out his phone and his friend messaged him ‘we are leaving early for college. See you there, buddy”. As he woke up and was about to leave the bed, he saw the drawer in which he kept his diary was open and the diary was also in a condition as if it has been read by someone. He thought something is suspicious going on around here.

Only he knew where he used to keep his diary. Who else could read that?. He went on to get ready, took a bus and reached college on time luckily. As he entered the classroom, everyone stopped talking and kept looking at him continuously. Without even a blink. His friends also didn’t react much. That day wasn’t like the usual anymore. By some excuse or some reasons, people started talking to him. The ones who never used to talk to him also came and started interacting with him. Not only in the classroom but also outside the corridor, he was popular. What difference could make in one day, he didn’t understand yet. As the day proceeded, the things started getting complicated.

He finally asked his friends what exactly he has done ?. The cause of this was them. They typed and published his diary online and it went viral. When he became Mr popular, at first he was quite irritated at his friends' acts but then got used to it. He even ignored the facebook requests and messages he used to receive.

A few days later, while he was sitting somewhere in the college cafeteria, two girls approached towards him. From now on, a new phase was about to come in his life. One of them asked’ is this seat vacant ?’. He replied with a gesture ‘ yes sure you can take it’. Both of them sat together. One of them was the girl who slapped him but he didn’t quite notice. When he lifted his face up and saw it was her, he decided to shift to any other table but they stopped him. The incident got so much viral that almost the whole college came to know of Sahil’s identity. One girl went away to order something while the other stayed. She continuously kept looking at him and asked’ Are you Sahil who’s personal diary got viral ?. He said ‘yes’. Unlike other people, who might make fun of his feelings, she wasn’t like them all. She said I’m sorry about whatever happened between you and the girl. I really feel bad for you. She kept repeatedly asking questions and he sometimes answered, sometimes remained silent. The other girl came back with their orders and she introduced them both. Also, she laughed at the incident on how she slapped her and found he is her brother’s friend. That’s when she came in his life, Amrita.

After this, Sahil received a call from his friend regarding a job. He had given an interview with a company as he lost his part-time job at the bakery shop. Joining was from the next day. Sahil didn’t know what fate had for him in store. The moment Sahil entered the office, the first thing that he was shocked to see was that Amrita was working in the same office. He didn’t have the courage to come over and greet her. He was thinking what will she think if she sees me here ?. Silently, as he was passing by, Amrita saw him. With a glimpse of surprise, she asked Hi Sahil, what are you doing here ?. He said’ Job interview, nothing else’. She said’ Okay I thought following me. Sahil said ‘no, no nothing like that. She again replied’ chill, I was just kidding. No matter how much sad and stressed he was after whatever happened to him, he found someone with whom he can share his feelings wholeheartedly. They both started spending time together and time kept moving and moving.

Two years later, Sahil had entered into final year. By the time now, he and Amrita have become really close to each other. College placements were about to start. Somehow he managed to get into a good company. Amrita too got placed in the very same company. He was admired in the company as a good person with an exceptionally hardworking attitude. Sahil liked it after all the tribulations and problems faced, he finally settled to make a good career. Somewhere he missed his parents, his friends and also a little bit, her too. He just wanted to meet Manisha once again before he dies in his lifetime. Everything was going good. One day, what happened was that while he was working at his office, one girl was continuously staring at Sahil. Amrita was just passing by and she looked at it. She asked her’ why are you looking at him ?. The girl passed a pleasant smile and didn’t say anything. Amrita understood the whole scene. Sahil saw her and he waived a Hi gesture to Amrita. She too waived Hi and called him away from sight. He asked what happened ?.

She told that the girl behind me was staring at you and it wasn’t like a normal look. He said surprisingly’ So what’ ?. He understood the look and asked her’ Are you jealous ?’. She said “no no I was just… all I want to say is you please ignore if anyone stares like that to you for no genuine reason. She is not your type, you deserve someone better”. At that time, she received a call from the boss for an urgent meeting. She said bye, see you later. For a moment, Sahil’s mind went in a flashback when in school he was once asked by Manisha ’Would you rather marry someone you think who deserve to be with you or someone who you love ?. After this, he got back to his work. The next day, it was office leave. Amrita came at Sahil’s flat to celebrate a get-together. His college friends/flatmates, Amrita’s friends, Sahil, everyone was there. While they all were drinking and enjoying, playing games like truth and dare, Sahil and Avinash were busy talking in a corner.

Avinash said so man, what are your plans now ?, I mean your job bond is about to over, you’re a graduate now, your family stays in Delhi. He replied that I don’t know I am quite confused, either I have a choice to go back and join post-graduation there or If I get a proper job, I might call my family here. Avinash said brother, there is also one thing that you can do. He surprisingly asked’ What is that ?. You know probably, you can think to settle down with someone. Sahil replied’ I guess I ain’t ready for that. I don’t know who is my kind ?. Avinash- What do you think about Amrita’s friends ?. You can pick any one of them if you like, Damn they’re looking at you. Sahil said No man, not again. Avinash said go get them, tiger. Amrita smiled and winked at her friends and asked’ should I introduce him to you ?. They nodded. They all came together and got introduced. As the party kept going on, after some time, Sahil took a drink and came outside the balcony all alone. One of her friends also came out to talk to him. The chitchat continued. Meanwhile, Amrita and Avinash also thought that they seem to look like made for each other, Nobody took track of time and it was already 3:00 am in the night.

So that the girls get back to their respective homes safely, Sahil went on a car to drop them off. He came back by 6:30 am in the morning. As he came inside the flat, everyone was sleeping. As he was extremely tired, he decided to took a day off from the office and slept. After 2-3 months, the time has finally come to say goodbye to Bangalore. Sahil decided to went back, complete his post studies and stay there with family. His parents were eagerly waiting for their son’s arrival. He went for a final party with his mates, as after that he won’t be coming back there. Packed up his bags and left for the airport. He said goodbye to everyone and part

ed for the security check. After a long time, Sahil came back to Delhi. Everyone was happy, celebrations were made everywhere. He was missing all the fun in his life what he had there. And time went on and on, 7 years had passed by now.

Sahil has completed his post-graduation, he got married to Amrita, has a son, happily settled in Delhi with his family, owner of a multinational corporation. Presently, Sahil came to some place to meet one of his clients. He had become a really successful person. A few minutes later, he received a call that the client is not coming due to an urgent meeting with someone else. As he was about to leave, a beggar came by his side.

He thought to give the beggar some money. Unaware of his conscious, while taking out money, he dropped a pendant he used to carry in his pocket. The money was given to the beggar and he started leaving from there.

Suddenly a young girl who was passing by with her mother saw this scene, ran and picked up the pendant. She was held back by her mother saying about not touching something which is not hers. She said’ Mom, that man dropped his pendant from pocket”. While taking it from her daughter’s hands, it fell down on the ground and opened. The mother who took the pendant in his hands was no other than Manisha herself. It was her younger picture in the pendant. By the time, she realized that man was Sahil, He had already left away in his car.

When her daughter asked’ Mom, did you knew that man ?. Her mother remained silent that moment but her heart said’ Yes dear, all my life”. In the car, a few minutes later, he felt like he is forgetting something and then realized that the pendant wasn’t there. It had not been much far from where he left, so he asked the driver to turn the car back. As he came back to the same place, it couldn’t be found anywhere, He asked local sweeper and other people around if they had seen anything, they also didn’t know.

It was important for him. After around one hour, the young girl appeared again at that place with her mother (Manisha). She wanted something to eat and while looking around, she shouted “Mom, Mom look that man is back”. Sahil was still looking here and there. The daughter wanted to give him his pendant back but his mother wanted to keep it safe. She left her mother’s hand, took out the pendant from her bag and ran towards him. A sweet voice from behind forced Sahil to turn around. Manisha too ran to catch her daughter. He asked,” Hey, What do you want, child”. She replied” Is this yours?. He got surprised and asked’ how do you have it ? She explained the whole scene. He understood everything.

Meanwhile, the time came when after so many years, Manisha and Sahil reunited again. Both looked at each other without a blink. Breathes stopped, no words were exchanged, hearts pounding like never before.

She simply handed over the pendant to him and left away with her daughter from there. They both met and parted their ways this time for forever. After this, they never saw each other again. Sahil’s love for her remained till the end while she now regrets how come she didn’t realize this before. Sahil’s love story was this much but on her part, it was something else.

UNFORGETTABLE LOVE PART 2

Sahil went away in car and Manisha told to her daughter’ yes dear, all my life I had known him'.

But this is not the end of the story.

Even though they had gone separate ways now but their minds were still at the same place. They both were thinking about each other. Sahil reached his home and Amrita opened the door. She was surprised how come he had come so early today?. So she asked him’ what happened?. Are you okay ?. He told her the whole incident that how he met Manisha. After listening to the whole thing, she said I know what you are feeling. It’s been 7 years now and still, it seems like yesterday. Look around you, you have achieved so much. Everything’s fine, you have to let her go. One hour later, Sahil’s sons Rahul and Vishesh came creating a joy’ Mom, Dad, we are home. You know what?. Today in school we had so much fun and they kept on speaking. After this, Sahil went up to his room to search a file and while searching for it, he found an old photograph of him and his friends in school. He gently smiled looking at it. A few minutes later, he received a call from one of his colleagues regarding his work.

He went out in the balcony to talk. Suddenly he saw that his younger son Rahul was about to touch a loose electrical wire. Instantly he asked him to move away from there but he was so busy playing that he didn’t listen. Instantly Sahil ran downstairs to save him but by that time, he had already come in contact with it and got fainted. Hearing a voice of screaming, Amrita too came out and without wasting time in thinking what to do, they immediately rushed him to the hospital.

No matter how much efforts they made to wake him up but all worthless. They found a doctor who admitted him to ICU Ward. Sahil canceled all his meetings for the day. After some time, The doctor came out. Sahil asked’ Is everything okay ?. The doctor said’ situation is critical but he will be okay. Due to the shock, he has lost his consciousness. He is too young to handle a shock. We are still trying our best. Someone had to go home as no one was there except Sahil’s parents. So, Amrita and Vishesh decided to go home. Sahil stayed in the hospital. Suddenly from the next room, two parents came out with their newborn baby. It was Sahil’s friend Avinash.

They both were surprised yet happy to see each other after so long time. He asked him’ what are you doing?. He told him the whole scene. Avinash said’ Don’t worry, everything is going to be fine. They exchanged numbers and Avinash left with his wife and newborn child. A few minutes later, the doctor came out and said’ I have good news. Your son is out of trauma and has opened his eyes, you can meet him now. Sahil said’ Thank you Doctor’ and went inside the room. Seeing his son out of the incident, he felt relieved. He asked’ How you doing, buddy ?. Rahul said’ I’m fine, dad. I’m just so sorry, I didn’t saw the wire. Sahil said’ no need to worry, you will be soon be taken home. He kissed his forehead and went outside the room to meet the doctor for further recommendations. The doctor said’ It’s okay, within few days, you can take him home.

Just follow up with the discharge formalities and be careful next time. You did right, rushed him immediately to the hospital without wasting time, Had it been a few minutes late, the consequences might have been severe.

After all the discussion, he left his room in the care of the doctor and came back home. He told everyone everything is alright he will be home within a few days, the whole family was relieved after hearing that. In the evening, Sahil was sitting with his father in the garden. They were having a sort of chit chat. Then his servant came and said’ Sir, someone has given an envelope for you.

He gave it and the servant went away. It was an invitation from one of his friends. A Marriage Anniversary Invitation. Sahil’s father said you should go, they are very good friends of ours. At first, he declined to go and attend any function as he was first concerned about his son. But after insisted, he agreed. In the night, they all had dinner and slept.

Two days later, the driver had brought Rahul home. Everyone was happy, especially Amrita. Being a mother, she wouldn’t want her son to be hurt. Meanwhile, when everyone was busy, Vishesh also came from School. He was so happy to see his brother back. While hugging and giggling with him, Sahil’s mother saw a band-aid in Vishesh’s knee. She asked what happened ?. Vishesh said’ Nothing much, I was playing with my friends and suddenly because of a stupid girl, I fell down. Then we had a quarrel of words but then Teacher came and took her away. She is new in class. She didn’t even say sorry and went away like nothing happened. At this, Sahil was smiling a bit as similar to this incident only how he and Manisha had met. No one noticed but Amrita did. She knew about it but didn’t say anything.

Two days later, the grand marriage anniversary of Sahil’s friend came. All were excited to go, they exchanged greetings and showed gratitude for becoming a part of the occasion.

Amrita too was interacting with other people and Rahul and Vishesh were also busy playing amongst themselves. A few minutes later, while everyone was busy, a voice came from behind’ Excuse me, please step aside’ and Sahil turned around but got shocked to see who that person was ?. None other than Manisha herself. Vishesh came up running towards Sahil. He said’ Dad, she was the teacher I was telling you about. To get out of the situation, Sahil asked Vishesh to go and play. In the meanwhile, a guy came looking for her. Unexpectedly, he turned out to be Sahil’s friend and Manisha’s husband Vikram. He introduced them both unaware of the fact that they already knew each other. After this, he said’ you guys carry on, I am just coming in a moment. They were again together by the excuse of the occasion. Now the conversation started.

Manisha- How do you know Vikram?

Sahil- Actually we were together in College.

Manisha- Oh Okay. How are you? you seem a bit surprised seeing me here, is it so?

Sahil – No no, I am fine. It’s just I had not expected you here.

Manisha- Great, listen, I want to talk to you. Where have you been after school? How is your life going ?.

Sahil- It was fine, It is great actually. I went to Bangalore for higher studies and now I am Chairman of an MNC company. What about you ?.

Manisha- I help Vikram in his Hotel business and take care of my daughter. Listen, I’m sorry whatever happened between us in school.

Sahil- Please don’t start it here, Manisha. I don’t want to talk about it.

Manisha- I know what I did was wrong. I only wanted to keep it till friends, nothing else. When we broke our friendship, that day my friends saw me and told my boyfriend about you. They all assumed there was something between us. A misconception happened and after a few months, my parents got to know about my relationship. So, after school got over, they sent me to London for further studies. I wanted to contact you even after whatever happened but didn’t know anything about you. They also told me not to contact you any further. I was crying, heartbroken for there was no one to support me. I really missed you. That day when I found your pendant, I thought might be this is the chance I could meet you but by that time you had left.

Sahil- Are you crazy?. You are telling this to me now?. After all these years, whatsoever the scenario have been? You know what? It doesn’t matter anymore. I am married, have two sons, I have to look after my family. Most important, I am happy. You left me when I needed you the most. Just because your parents told you to ?. You should’ve tried to get above all this like I did.

Sahil left from there leaving her alone. After the ceremony, he left with his family from there. Next day, Vishesh was asked by that girl to play with him. She too wanted to say sorry. Slowly and gradually, with the passage of time, they became friends. My name is Vishesh and what’s your name?. I am Swarnika. I am new at this school. Ten years later, they both managed to get into the same college. Everything was going great between them. They both liked each other a lot and they knew about it.

Swarnika- What will you do after college ?.

Vishesh- I don’t know maybe join my father’s business. What about you ?.

Swarnika - Same here. No idea, my father wants me to get married but I guess I am too young for that.

Vishesh- Do it then. They are your parents. They’ll know what’s good for you.

Swarnika- Vishesh, I like you and you know that. Can’t we get married ?.

Vishesh- Yes but….. Okay, I’ll talk to my parents regarding this.

In the room, Sahil and Rahul were having a discussion. Vishesh entered the room.

Vishesh- Dad, there is something I need to talk to you about. Privately.

He understood being a father what was it about?. He gently gave a sign to Rahul to go out. They both started having a discussion.

Sahil- Okay, I will talk to her parents.

Vishesh- Thanks, Dad.

Sahil- Are you sure you’ll be happy with this girl you want to marry?

Vishesh- Yes dad. We both know each other very well from childhood. We like each other.

Sahil- Son, sometimes that is not enough. Marriage is one big responsibility. Think before any decision you make. Be like your brother.

Vishesh- Yes, Dad. I will. Goodnight.

Deep inside, Sahil was somewhat hurt. His son wants to marry the girl he likes and he wasn’t fortunate enough for himself. On the day of marriage, Sahil got a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital immediately. The doctor declared his condition is critical. You can meet him but please don’t talk much to him. Everyone went inside.

Before dying, he gave his son a promise that he will always take care of his wife like the way he took care of his mother. He died after giving his blessings to his sons and the daughter-in-law. Every year, the family used to go to the graveyard to pay respects to Sahil. In the end, it is shown that souls of Sahil and Manisha reunited in heaven.

For once and forever, even after physical separations, it was their divine love for each other that kept them together spiritually. This is what can be understood as the true meaning of Love.

This is Unforgettable Love.
