Twisted
Twisted

A figure from the past, I remember,
Who never let us cast,
Our own ways, our own journeys.
All she could see
Were the drops of failure in me.
Stoned she was inside,
Never let her emotion slide.
Her own shadow would say
No, you better alone.
In the spring of 2008
Life gave her a check-mate.
Standing by the window,
Waiting for her child
Never ended.
All the discipline was for what,
Wrecked wobbly weeps?
The void within
Sucked her in,
Chewed her soul,
Until nothing remained.
