Trustworthy Friendship.

It was Sunday night. A boy got tired after studying hard for his exams. He connected a random call on Opentalk to refresh his mind and stress. The call connected to a girl who was from Hyderabad. The initial conversation was so good but there is a limitation of talking 20 minutes in the first call and if anyone wants to extend the call for the next 20 minutes then it is needed to spend 2 credits. The conversation was interesting. The boy and girl, both were impressed with each other in just 20 minutes of the call. 

Before the call gets disconnected, she extended the call for the next 20 minutes. They continued their conversation. The girl asked him to accept the talk buddy request. After 40 minutes of call both became talk buddy. Now from here both can call and text each other. After becoming talk buddy, she connected the call and this time conversation continued for 2 and half hours. This was a new experience for the boy, probably for a girl also. However, these 2 and half hours of conversation developed faith and trust between each other.

The boy and the girl, both were university students, aged 18 and 19 respectively. Both were good students. The fact, the girl was the university topper. The boy normally used to be free in the night because of classes, studies, etc. While the girl had also almost the same schedule.

They could talk and talk for what seemed like hours, spending around 2 and half hours of their sleeping time on the phone(on Opentalk). When they were speaking to each other, the moments were happy and full of laughter. They used to feel euphoric and overjoyed when they talk on the phone. They could sleep relaxingly.

One day the girl texted the boy but he didn’t reply which was most unusual. She texted again and didn’t get any response. She tried calling her but he was on DND (do not disturb). The night passed but the boy was not available with call or text. The girl started getting worried. She started thinking as something was wrong.

The second night the girl again waited for his text or call but she didn’t get any. This made her worry and sad. She couldn’t sleep and stayed 3/4th of the night crying. At this time she realized how much that boy was actually meant to her.

The next day evening, the boy called the girl. The girl was so happy as soon as she picked the call.

Boy: Hey! How are you?

Girl: I am so happy to hear from you! What happened to you? ( as streaming tears on her face)

Boy: I couldn’t respond to your call and texts. I was disturbed with my hectic schedule but now I’m very stable.

Girl: I was terrified when I didn’t get any response. I felt as I have lost a part of myself.

Boy: I understand, I am sorry!

Girl: You know, all the past conversations started flashing in front of my eyes. I was lost and confused.

Boy: I’m extremely sorry! I promise you it will never happen again.

Girl: Oh Thank you…

Boy: Welcome dear! Always remember, you make me feel like a million bucks.
