Toothbrush Moustache

The date was 30th April 1945, the world had just got the news of death of one of the most evil persons. Adolf Hitler was dead. The man who had murdered millions of Jews was no more. The cause of his death was not age, disease or death by the enemy but suicide. Apparently Hitler and his partner Eva Braun had shot themselves in their bunker. But that was what the entire world was told. Was it the truth - maybe or maybe not.

Five year after the event something happened in the remote jungles near the Paraguay border that might suggest that the conspiracy theories might indeed be true - that Hitler had escaped. So what happened in 1950, lets take a look.

“I am pretty sure we are lost” said Mataias to his father Santiago.

What started as a father son camping trip was now looking like a nightmare. 54 year old Santiago and his 24 year old son Mataias both nature lovers had planned this trip for weeks. This was supposed to be their father and son time before Mataias left for higher studies in Buenos Aries.

Everything was going well, til the storm hit. The father and son duo were lucky enough to find a small cave which provided them with a little protection from the overnight rain. Now with their food and water almost exhausted they decided to retrace their steps back to the civilisation.

It was almost four hours and they were yet to find their way out. After walking a few miles ahead something caught Mataias’ eye. Almost camouflaged by the jungle it was a two storeyed building.

“That’s odd, I thought you said that this area was inhabitable” said Mataias to Santiago. “Maybe there is someone in there who can help us with the way out” commented Santiago.

They both moved towards the house hoping for help, not knowing that this was going to be their last moment together. Before Mataias could knock the door, Santiago’s head exploded and he fell on the floor. Mataias froze numbed from shock either to cry at his father’s death or to run to save his life.

The next moment the door opened and he was surrounded by five men who were dressed in black. Before he was shot point blank on his head, the last thing Mataias saw was a sadistic smile forming on the face of the man who shot him.

The man with what some called a Toothbrush Moushtache.
