How often do you give up on your faith??? Some may say quite often while some do’t have faith as they tend to believe in their hard work and dedication. When it comes to me, I have faith in my good deeds, my patience and die hard trust on my Allah who’ll fulfill my all those wishes of mine which are meant for my good.

Now the question arises how long you can put your trust on Allah to shower his blessings on you. Because at times of contiguous failure I have seen people giving up on their trust and faith on their god and complaints continuously on the delay being caused. It’s a very common saying, that “Have faith, as miracles happens everyday.”

To my reader, to introduce myself I am Lucky (this is my pen name or to be more precise a name I got from someone I loved or still love no matter how distant we are at present). I love writing , and this tiny tale of hope may enlighten your mood or help to build that faith which you may have lost to a bad experience or an uncertain event. I love this world, my family to be specific.

Born and brought up in a simple Muslim background my parents have given me all the liberty which any girl of my age would have dreamt to be offered. As I have been an only child of my beloved parents for a time span of 14 years, you can actually imagine how selfish I would have grown up.

But my selfish nature converted to a selfless one when at the age of 14, my parents blessed my with a younger sister whose actually the best gift I would have every dreamt of. Growing up as an apple of your parents eye is always a boon, but having a sibling is a blessing. You have someone to tease around, fight with, care for, adore, love and the list can go endless.

The story marks it’s entry when a phone call during summer vacations brought Lucky to realise the fact that she’s an employed personnel working as a teacher in a reputed institute.

Bharti Di calling….the phone displayed. Usually Bharti Di calls when she have some work and require my help to deal with the same. But receiving a call during summer break is a bit confusing. So overcoming with all the thoughts Lucky answered the call in her usual tone. “Hye! How are you?” Bharti Di replied am all good what about you. How are you spending your vacations? As she was just spairing her time al ideal at home still she spoke with an anxious gesture, ”Am perfectly fine. Doing all great and enjoying myself at home.”

Then came up the real reason for why the call was made. Bharti Di told Lucky that she called to tell her in the first place that she has recently visited the dargah at Ajmer, and the first thought that strike her mind on visiting the pilgrimage was her. Ajmer holds a very close place in Lucky’s heart. No matter she hasn’t visited the place ever but have always dreamt to visit the holy place once in her lifetime.

With a smile on her lips and moist eyes Lucky asked Bharti Di that if she had prayed for her to visit Ajmer someday; and with a positive response she said yes. As growing up Lucky had heard and seen visiting Ajmer. And everytime she had dreamt to visit the place, to feel the positivism around and to play whole heartedly at the shrines of Khwaja Gareeb Nawaz.

The first encounter with the concept of Ajmer marked when Lucky was in her VI standard, and while going through one of the magazines, she read an incident of a foreigner lady that how she was upset with the fact that her daughter was not getting admission in any of the good schools in Delhi. And how someone told her to visit Ajmer and pray and her wish would be converted into a reality.

Since that very time, Lucky has admired to visit Ajmer but the main problem that existed was according to Muslim philosophy one needs to visit Nizamuddin Dargah at Delhi first then plan to Ajmer. So everytime a planned was made to visit it was all in complete vain.

But as it is rightly said, good things takes time. Finally the wait was said to be over. Year 2018, the game chnager as I would love to quote. Last day of April , with no plans in hand, Lucky was all set again for the Summer Vacations to be confined by the four walls of the house. But all of a sudden in the afternoon hours a miracle happen.

All of a sudden Lucky’s mumma dearest declared, “Let’s plan for Ajmer”. Lucky was in utter astonishment, Ajmer that too in peak time of summer break. Are you serious? Was all the emotion that spread all around her face. “Yes, why not?”. Lucky was suppose to join her school for summer camp duties on May 11. So she just had 10 days in hand to transform her lifelong dream into reality.

A call was made to Papa to find out about the availability of tickets for Ajmer via Delhi. Papa as usual in his flow, “How will we get tickets that too in Summer vacation time. People book tickets months in prior.” But ma told papa not to draw conclusion and find out.

Lucky in excitement told her Beste about the same plan and instructed her to find out trains which have seats available to make the journey possible. With long discussions and continuous negotiations finally tickets were booked that too with seat confirmation for Delhi from Jabalpur - task one accomplished.

The next task in hand was to find out trains which will offer seats to travel from Delhi to Ajmer. But due to timings which weren’t feasible to my family we were stuck in middle thinking to drop down the plan as there seems no ray of hope. Lucky was in complete emotional turmoil as she didn’t know what Allah actually wanted for her.

Her ma quoted a very simple and beautiful quite, “Wahi Ajmer Jaatein Hain , Jinhe Khwaja Bulate Hain…” Lucky thought her time has not yet arrived. She told her bestie to cancel his plan as well as out of excitement and with her ma’s permission she tole her best friend to join them for the trip.

For a mother all that matters is the happiness of her child. And yes for Lucky’s mom the same fact follow. She always wants her daughters to be happy. Finally her mother agreed to whatever train was available. Guess what we got tickets book from Jabalpur to Ajmer first, then Ajmer to Jabalpur. And after a deep discussion Delhi to Ajmer also was successfully done.

The day arrived when the whole family boarded a morning train to Delhi. With full zeal and excitement the journey began. With being delayed for almost 3 hours, the train which was suppose to reach Delhi by 12:00 midnight, reached at 3:00a.m.

Reaching Delhi was like the first step towards Ajmer. The very next morning a visit the “Dargah at Nizamuddin” started the Delhi Darshan. Two continuous days with fun and enjoyment made Delhi a dream come true.

The magnificent Qutub Minar,The Grand Jama Masjid, The Metro ride and all the markets are still that tend block my eyesight. After 2 days of Darling Delhi now was the turn to head toward Amazing Ajmer.

The train was scheduled for 2:30 a.m. but due to some problems which Indian Railways always encounter out train was late for almost 6+ hours. Spending those hours in the platform were like a punishment and a test of our patience level. Finally on boarding the train to Ajmer at 8:30 a.m. gave back Lucky’s lost excitement.

She spent an hour or two sleeping because of the sleepless previous night. The fact that everyone was suppose to reach Ajmer in a while was giving goosebumps to Lucky. The moment she reached the Rajasthan border and the telecommunication provider texted “Welcome to Rajasthan” brought tears of joy in her eyes.

Finally Khwaja Sahab had called Lucky after wait of innumerable years. Reaching Ajmer by 6:30 p.m., the family planned to take up a hotel near by the Dargah to avoid any further inconvenience.

A hotel was booked in a locality where from a distance one can see the “Buland Darawaza”. After taking rest, having bath and getting dressed the big moment came. Every step being taken towards the Dargah moistened Lucky’s eyes and the moment she kept her first step she started crying.

The tears which are beyond one’s thoughts the feelings which were not bound by words. The dream coming into a reality finally proved one thing to Lucky-

“Don’t Give Up, To All The Faith You Have…”
