The Unusual Appearance

In the small town of Broadhex, lived a man named John. John had a three-year-old daughter named Shelly. His wife died two years after the birth of Shelly due to cancer. Since then, John has been taking care of Shelly.

Once, John and Shelly were walking on the street. As they were walking, a balloon man passed. Fascinated by the varieties of the balloon, Shelly asked John if she could have one of them. As caring father John was, he fulfilled her wish. Being happy, Shelly was walking with joy on the street. As they were walking on the side of the road, the balloon slipped from her hand. Seeing it going, Shelly started crying. John ran towards it to catch it. As soon as he grabbed it, something unrealistic happened. John disappeared in thin air like he was never present there before.

Shelly was baffled to see her father gone like that. She tried to explain to everyone what happened, but no one would believe a three-year-old child. She was taken into custody by her grandma. As time passed by, she forgot about the incident. She grew up to be an elegant woman, married at the age of twenty-four and had a son three years after marriage.

Once Shelly and her son were walking on the street. As they were walking, they came across the place where Shelly’s father disappeared. Suddenly a memory struck Shelly’s mind. The last memory of her father vanishing in the thin air. Lost in thoughts, her son took off his hands from her hands and started running towards the other side of the road. Interrupted, Shelly saw her son running. Suddenly, a car at high speed came towards him. Shelly ran towards him, but it was too late for her to save him. She thought she would lose him, but suddenly out of thin air appeared a man with a balloon in his hands running towards her son. They collided and were thrown on the other side of the road. The balloon popped, but her child survived.
