Riya was someone who always feared the known more than the known. She feared getting close to people and losing them. Ever since childhood she liked being among the group, within people. To keep herself surrounded and occupied. What hurt the most that people would leave. Every one of them promised that they wouldn't but they did.

Her childhood friend left her for better friends. Her school friend left for her crush. Her college besties moved abroad for further studies and then lost touch. She would fear darkness but now that felt comforting. She was afraid of being lonely, but now she likes to keep to herself.

Life is that unknown stranger, who teaches us lesson, who throws our way obstacles with a hidden lesson. To grow in life isn't above growing your social circle, but about growing attached to your ownself. To hold and behold the inner strength and instead of fighting against what we fear, to face them.
