The treasure......

On the streets of New York City a young boy at the age of 8 to 10 was searching garbage bins to sell and earn some money. He saw an old woman throwing books in the garbage bin. He ran to stop her "stop"he said. "Why?" the old woman asked."You don't know what you are doing" "What? I am throwing useless books in the bin" "The books can't be useless. Maybe they are useless to you but someone know its price" 

"do you know?" "no I can't read, but I want to learn" "then what can I do?" "give it to me I will sell these books and give you some money, not all because I want to learn and for that I need money" "ok take them, count, do you know counting?" "I do" "good then count it"

"ok hmmm one two.....it's ten" "ok! take and come again when they sell out, I will give you more" "Ok! thanks" The boy collects them and walks away. He Arrives at the market place and sits on the street with the books.

People walk up to him to read the books.

Nobody tries to buy. One young lady picks up a book and asks for the price. He says "1 dollar "did you know the correct price?"

"no" he says. The woman likes his innocence

"Where did you get all these books from?"

The boy tells her the whole story "Ohh you want to learn how to read "yaa" said the boy. 

"Can you take me to that lady?" "what would you give to me in return?" "Ohh smart business man, I will help you get your education" "it will take your whole life" "why?" because my father said so" "why?" "because father says I will be a student till I die" "Ohh! thats nice but why are you so eager to get your education?" "because I don't know my rights, as I am an illiterate I don't know who is my father and mother how can they throw me away in dust?" "Every morning I search all the dustbins to see if anybody is in it, if there I find someone i give them to father in the church" 

"which father?" "father Fernandez, they keep 200 children like me. They give them shelter."

"He doesn't teach you?" "He wants to but I don't want to be burden on them" "why?" because there helping so many kids already. Every time i find someone I give the. They can't afford everything right? so I want to do it by own"

"Okay! you are great, oh sorry what is your name?" "Jack Fernandez, father gave me the name, he said that I am son of God, but I don't know where he is" "You will know some day,

"ok I'll give you some books you already wasted your precious time on me" he said "no dear I like you,you are a nice guy, as I said take me to that lady, I will definitely help you out" "ok but don't cheat, im a poor guy" "certainly not Jack"

"ok then come on" He gathers all books and goes away, the young woman went by him. They go to the old lady's house. They knock and the old lady comes to the door. She asks the boy "Sold all the books?" "yes" "mam, this lady took all books but she wanted to meet you" 

"ohh come on in" Hi mam I am Lisa bell, I am an

author, I saw these books and was surprised that the boy Was selling them on the street" 

"Why? there are several street stalls of books" 

"mam actually he didnt know the price of the

book, So I asked him from where he got them. Are you selling them all?" "yaa! actually, I was throwing them out, he stopped me"

"What? into garbage bins?" Lisa shouted

"Yes, my husband wrote all these and wasted all his life, wealth, on them, I am struggling for my basic needs. what can else would I Do?"

"what? you mean you are Mrs D'cruz?" "yes Robert D'cruz is my husband, he died last month I have no money for his funeral, Father Fernandez did all the expense" 

"my God! that means I am at Robert D'cruz's house" "yaa" "the great author Robert D'cruz" 

"why you are so excited?" "because mam you don't have to do anything now. You are the lady of great author Robert D'cruz, your house is going to be a heritage of the world. The government will take all care of you and this place." 

"what about me?" asks the boy.

"you are my child now I am going to adopt you. I'll give you all the education you need"

The country will thank you as you are the treasure.....

so moral of the story is to know the price of the book. They are priceless.
