The Thrill Of The Chase - 3

Jasmine was in a deep thought standing near her study table holding her phone in her hand and thinking about Christian. At the very moment, she again got a call which drew her attention back and it was Christian calling her. She felt like it's been three years of their friendship, this is the final year of their course and he treated her like this, they both knew they feel something for each other but their feelings were always coved by the sheet of a friendly tussle. Jasmine didn't pick his call, in contempt and anger, and began to start walking down the stairs (to reach the gate as James was coming to pick her for the carnival)

She came out of the house, standing near the gate waiting for James to come and pick her. She saw a car coming towards her and she assumed it will be James at that very moment she received a text, till then the gorgeous red car was in front of her doors opened but she carelessly began to read the text and sat inside the car.

As soon as she sat down on the seat next to the drivers seat (she was busy opening the phone and reading the message didn't pay attention who was driving ) she read the text and was absolutely shocked to know that it was Christian's text stating "come with me please" and heard a manly voice "you look different today , beautiful " which made her look towards the person next to her ..

Her eyes stuck right there on his smile who was none other than Christian. In the next moment, she tried to get out of the car but Christian has already locked the door. Jasmine: what is happening? What are you trying to do? Christian holding her wrist, I am here to take you with me, since morning I am trying to say something but you ... Jasmine (controlling her emotions and trying to not to cry ) Interrupted, "everything is over you have a girlfriend now, where is she? You should be with her right, though this is the final year and you already have your mate (with red eyes) I am happy for you, now let me go "

Christian: will you allow me to speak my mind, ok now I am not going to say anything just watch my actions you will understand.

Jasmine: okay Christian, I will come with you for the last time as I know now nothing is left which can hurt me more than that what you and Sofia did in the day earlier. But what is left to see or to say .

Christian: since, years people are asking me, who is your girlfriend, you and Jasmine are in a relationship? I never replied to this and I thought you know the answer but today, you are asking me this question so I need to give an appropriate answer to you. So, jasmine lets go and meet my girlfriend.

After listening to this jasmine was very upset and replied, okay Chris, just for you for the first and last time I am coming to meet your girlfriend. Christian smiled and nodded. He said you don't need to worry about James he already saw you getting in here and he left. , So let's go.

After 45 mind they reached . The place was beautiful, greenery all around which looked like a forest. Jasmine said where is she Christian? He replied pointing towards a little house 20 steps ahead, she is there come with me. Jasmine followed. Though jasmine was feeling down and heartbroken but she decided to face it and went behind him.

They both entered the house, Jasmine thought for a while that this house lookes so old from outside but beautiful inside. And Jasmine asked him, where is she? Christian replied heading towards the door. "here Jasmine, she is inside, waiting for you " come with me but Jasmine was so nervous and hesitant to go in and face her, she gathers her courage and enter the room in a jiffy while Chris was standing behind her

And guess what she found the room empty, one one was there, only it was with well furnished wooden floor, a study table and a bed in the corner, a huge open window infront of her and a square 5 feet long thing hung up on the wall covered with a velvet cloth completely in a corner . After taking a good look everywhere, where is she furiously asked, Christian are you playing with me right now? and the emotions she was controling so badly all slipped out of her hand and she began to cry and yell at Christian. Christian came closer and hug her, even more tightly when she was pushing him away and said it not joke Jasmine, she is just standing on that corner (wiping her tears, holding her wrist and pulling her in front of the 5 feet talk square hung upon the wall.

Jasmine ask him, ( upset tone and dull face) stop this already Chris I don't want to see what is this now? Christian smiled and said please just remove this velvet cloth and I promise you will get your answer, please. Jasmine was thinking what wrong things she did, that she has to repay it like this, closing her eyes she decide to take off that piece of velvet from that square pieace

As soon as she opened her eyes to take a look what it is she was in absolute delima she thought that is this true or she had lost her mental balance because its 5 FEET LONG BEAUTIFUL BRONZE MIRROR all she could see was her reflection, her own image .

All of a sudden Christian gave a back hug to her and whispered "I thought you must be knowing my heart belongs to you, but you want the answer who is my girlfriend it's heartbreaking but, see she is just in front of you. Meet my girlfriend Miss. Jasmine and I love her a lot.

Jasmine was looking him through the mirror with a smile and tears in her eyes she turned back and hug him placing her head on his chest saying that don't you dare to leave me and began to cry in his arms. He wiped her eyes placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, looking into each other's eye he said I own a heart where only you reside (Jasmine smiled with joyful tears in her eyes).

Chris continued, and don't you dare to lean on anybody's shoulder and cry (because he saw her crying in the cafeteria and leaning on James it's jeleousy ha, ha ). They both laughed.

And they both went back to their carnival together but not as two friends but as a lover with his beloved.
