This all began in Kashmir, a land of unthinkable beauty. The bareness of the high rock is a boldness, a confidence that in all this vast world the mountain dares to stand tall, reaching for the sun above the cloak of green that reaches all the way. Aisha, of about nine years old is a deaf-mute girl. Her innocence was the purest of all. The beautiful black eyes were an own star shining bright in the dark. Her long straight brown eyes were to be well preserved. Her smile spread a positive energy around her. Her family was always short of money often they had to sell one of their sheep for their living. Her parents supported, loved her and did anything to make her feel alright. 

Aisha’s parents were really concerned for her as she was deaf and dumb. Aisha’s parents wanted to her to their place in Delhi where their prayers might be fulfilled. Ali, Aisha’s dad was a protective, hardworking man. He was the only working member of the family he was always under a lot of pressure. Ali, about thirty-four years of age, tall and slender, full beard face, his face was always gloom. 


Ali dropped Aisha and Zara, Aisha’s mom, was about twenty-eight

years old, she was a religious woman, she prays all day and night for her daughter to get all right. She is also very protected about her family. They reached the station in the nick of the time. They safely got into the train; the train started just after they caught their train. 

It was a twelve-hour train, the train halts and everyone’s asleep. Aisha sees a lamb as she was an animal lover, gets down and plays with it. The train suddenly starts and leaves, Aisha was left horror – struck and is unable to shout for help. Aisha looks around panicked gets into another train which reaches a nearby village and she gets off, Zara, on the other hand, wakes up and looks for her daughter, she discovers she missing. She begs the officials to stop the train and go to back to the junction where it stopped. Abhimanyu, clean-shaven, neatly combed black-haired man, oval faced man. A man with magnanimous heart and his honesty and simplicity which made him stand out from the others. He owned a novelty shop like any other man but Aisha couldn’t stop staring at Abhimanyu. He looked perplexed. He orders the child food and discovers she can't speak. He assumes she's separated from her parents. And takes her to the local police station where he files a 'missing child' complaint. 


However, the policeman refuses to keep the child there, saying he can't guarantee her safety and tells Abhimanyu to take her home until her family arrives. On the way to Delhi by bus, he introduces himself to Aisha, he tells her that he was loved by his family members and he was always the mischievous one amongst his two younger brothers and was the one rebuked by his dad all the time. Aisha found Abhimanyu a very hilarious man. 

At first his family didn’t accept Aisha; they didn’t want him to stay in their house. This became a brawl between his family and him. This made Aisha perturb to see Abhimanyu and his family with one against each other. After about two months, there was a gamble between Abhimanyu and his friends and some youngsters who were of a Muslim caste. They had to play a match to win the money. The match started; people were burning with their curiosity to see who would win. Abhimanyu, was astounded to see Aisha cheering for them. After losing against them Aisha was triumph noticing Abhimanyu and his team lost the match. Abhimanyu was astound looking at Aisha being content on them winning the game. 

The family discovers she's a Muslim. Abhimanyu’s dad insists he take Aisha to the Muslim Embassy to return her home but the Embassy’s facing a lot of riots for it to be shutting over a month. Abhimanyu is left with no choice and has to take her to a travel agency. The travel promises illegally to take Aisha to Kashmir and Abhimanyu pays the money. But later discovers that the agent company is fraud and is horrified to find the agent has taken the child to a brothel.


Abhimanyu determined to take Aisha to Kashmir safely all by himself. He takes them under the sands and border wires through tunnels - but emerging in Jammu and Kashmir, Abhimanyu insists he'll now proceed with the Kashmir guards' permission. The Kashmir guards can't understand this man and beat him up but finally, they got convinced by his honesty and let him proceed. Her father is now very appreciative of heroic Abhimanyu, they reach the Narowal border. Abhimanyu is brought there by the cops who don't want to force a false confession from him as this will tarnish Kashmir. The cop tells the border guard to open the locks and let Abhimanyu cross to India. 

Aisha couldn’t resist her tears she ran at her full speed to her parents. Her parents were crying when they saw their daughter after two months. Aisha and Aisha’s parents wept with joy. Aisha’s parent couldn’t have been more grateful than this for what Abhimanyu has done for them. Abhimanyu was content to see Aisha with her parents and wishes the best for Aisha and her family.


It was time for Abhimanyu to take leave. Aisha didn’t want him to go she wished he stayed with her and protect her. Aisha was trying desperately to call out to him and her voice is miraculously restored when she shouts to him. Abhimanyu is delighted to see her and embraces her with great love before he returns to his people in Delhi.
