The One With The Mahavir Jayan

Dear Diary 📚

Today was a very auspicious day for us. We celebrate the birth of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara of Jains. 

My mother woke me up at 7 am and I quickly got ready. We performed some religious rites and watched religious parade and puja on the television as we cannot go out on these days. At 9 we ate breakfast, my mother had cooked a scrumptious meal. 

At 11 o'clock I started doing my work till 3 o'clock and then I played Ludo with my sister's friend and then with my friends. Both the times I won the game. 

At 5, I read Malgudi Days and then ate my dinner.

At 7, we all got together and did our prayers. 

Then at 9, we watched Dream Girl, a Bollywood rom-com. It was about the LGBTQ community. We should accept all kinds of love stories is what I understood from this me. It had a nice message.
