The Interview Saga

I empowered myself with knowledge and confidence infused in me as I completed the preparation for my interview. I heard the interviewers are too tough and harsh that they can ruin any preparation. But, giving up was not an option. So, relying on the knowledge and my preparation, I went in for the interview.

30 minutes of careful answering every question, I was content with my performance. Contrary to my past interviews, where I usually screw up, this one was very good. I thought they were about to conclude and happiness engulfed me from inside. But, it was short-lived as one of the interviewers asked 'You have the knowledge, why you were never selected before?'

I had no answer to this. How could I say why they rejected me before.

I stood there silent and another interview was nearly screwed.
