The mystery unfolds

I was a normal kid who kept to himself and didn’t talk very often until my life turned upside down. Oh sorry, forget to introduce myself. My name is Lukas, son of a rocket scientist and a bank manager and this is the story about how my life turned upside down and how I got my first pet. I am a nerd ( “#Once a nerd, always a nerd” I stole that quote ) anyhow let’s start the story from the beginning, so I was walking up to my class with my best friend Bob and then, suddenly heard Bob screaming. I looked behind to see that Bob had disappeared and I heard a mechanical click. I was perplexed by what just happened. I got through school and rushed home to tell the story to my sister Bella. “ Bella, something odd happened when I was walking into school.” I said.” You slipped on a banana peel again” Bella sarcastically said “No but, Bob vanished into thin air “ I said.” “That’s weird because more students are vanishing in the school”, Bella said. I was very surprised to hear that “ I did hear a mechanical click as Bob Vanished “ I said .” That might be a clue,” said Bella. One thing you should know about my sister is that she loves detective movies.” I will try to uncover who is behind this “, Bella said .” I will try to find out as much as I can,” I said. I wanted to help Bob and the other students. I always wanted to be a hero and now I finally have the chance to.

Mystery solve…or Is it?

After a few days, Bella came up to me excited “ I cracked the mystery Lukas” I felt an energy boost as Bella said it “ What is it “ I said in an impatient voice “ I will kill whoever did this to the students “ I said “ you can’t because they’re already dead” she said, “explain more because I am confused “.She explained that our school used o be a very powerful castle and they added trapdoors as a defense mechanism and students fell through the trapdoors.” Let’s go to the school after we have packed our bags. Mom or Dad isn’t home” Bella agreed and we packed our bags and headed to our school.” I have to overcome my fear of the dark if I have to save my friends” I

said in a heroic yet scared voice “,” I got a torch and be careful of the trapdoors on the ground” said Bella “Ok”, I said “Let’s go and save our friends “ said Bella “ Even If it’s super scary and dark” I said “ Stop being a fraidy-cat Lukas” said Bella, she was right I can be a bit of a fraidy-cat at times. So we walked throughout the school and she kept saying be careful and I was annoyed by that.”Try to be careful, these traps could be everywhere “said Bella “ You told me that a million times I will be careful “ I said “ Ow…what did I bump into “ said Bella holding up the torch “ Ahhhhh oh it’s just a suit of armor” I said “ Lukas be careful “ Bella said “Ahhhh” I said as I fell down a trapdoor which closed as I fell. As I fell I spotted skeletons wearing fierce war armor. I think they were the skeletons of people who tried to sneak into the castle in the old ages but they could not get through the defenses. I took a bunch of photos for the newspaper even though I was screaming from the inside. I landed on some very itchy hay.” Welcome my friend” said a familiar voice. It was Bob “ Bob I am so happy to see you” I screamed “do not yell” whispered Bob “why not” I whispered back “because of that, “ he said pointing to a sleeping wolf which was 5x the size of normal wolf. “ Ohh ok how did you arrive without food or water,” I said, “because this old man was here and had found a stash of honey and water”. “But won’t the honey be expired,” I said “ No honey don’t expire child “ a second voice piped in.

It was an old and wise looking mn saying it.” Who are you old man “ “ I’m Yu,” said the old man “yeah I am me but who are you,” I said in a confused voice “I am Yu,” the man said “just tell me your name, “ I said “ my name is Yu y-u “ Yu said “ oh,” I said in an embarrassing voice.”That is Yu he told us that he had found the school but while he was doing his second investigation of the school he fell down one of the trapdoors and he had spent most of his time coming up with a plan to get himself out of here with help from the wolf “ said Bob. “Then why didn’t you activate your plan to get yourself out of here,” I asked, “ I would but I need some bait to lure the wolf to the wall and break it “.None of us are brave enough to be the bait” Bob said in a sad tone” I can be the bait” I said .”Really Lukas it could be dangerous” Bob said “ I admire your bravery child, “ said Yu. “ If I may ask where the other students are, “ I said “they are sleeping Lukas, “said Bob “ what are we waiting for .., let’s get on with the plan,” I said .” We are waiting for the Wolfy the wolf to wake up” Bob said.”But maybe we can get out of here without using the wolf” I said because I didn’t want to hurt the wolf “you might be right Lukas because when I came here I found this paper with a number pattern” Bob said “ I think about it” I said.” I am sticking to my wolf plan” saif Yu after one day all the other students were awake.”I solved it” I said, “we can get out of here,” I said “really “ all the students cheered. “How, “ said Bob and Yu” so if you look here these bricks are darker then all the other ones,” I said pointing to the bricks “yeah, so what, “said the students “there are exactly 10 dark bricks like a calculator so if we press the number pattern that Bob found, the wall should open, “ I said .” How you did find it out,” everybody said “ I saw it in a book called how to be a detective “ I responded “ 4 3 5 7 9 1 6, “ I said “the suspense is killing me, “ said Bob “O…” I said as the wall cracked open.

But our blood froze as we heard a loud howl behind us we saw that wolf had been awakened. All have sprinted out of the wall except me. I stayed behind the mayor who was surprised by how intelligent we were. He awarded us with free pizzas for a month. But when he asked who came up with the plan there all answered Lukas but the mayor realized that I was not on stage. He ordered Bob to go and look for me and when Bob came to the now not so secret room, he saw me and said “ why are you covered in blood ?”I was training Wolfy he keeps biting me as he does not like humans” I said. “Anyways, Mayor awarded us with free pizzas for a month and he wants you on stage but probably you should get cleaned up, “ he said.”Ok, Wolfy, stay here” I said as I sprinted towards the stage as I reached the stage everybody saw me and said “why are you covered in blood,” I told the entire story then I said, “ but now he is ok with humans and does not bite “.The Mayor said “ Lukas will you be happy to keep Wolfy “ off course “ I said happily .” And for your intelligence, I would like to give you this award” said the Mayor handing me a trophy I looked at the crowd. I saw three familiar faces: Dad, Mom, and my sister. I think they were both proud and annoyed at me because now they have to take care of a giant wolf. That’s the story. How I achieved my goal of becoming a hero.
