The Eternal Love

They were opposite but destiny brought them close. This is what life teaches we human beings that at some point we have a heart filled with love for someone. Though it takes time for us to realize true love and find that one special person.

This story is also about the two opposite characters Vivian and Vartika who were completely different from each other but destiny brought them close.

Vartika belongs from a lower middle -class family who was a single child of her single mother. Her father died in an accident, so her mother struggled to make their living possible. Vartika was a bright student so since childhood, she used to get a scholarship. After the completion of her secondary schooling, she went to a very reputed college by taking the scholarship. The fees of that college was very high so only the children of the rich family used to come there. Vartika was the single bright student from a middle-class family so she used to keep very quiet and calm. She only focuses on her studies rather than the love mashups going in her surroundings.

On the other hand, Vivian was a rich boy who belonged to a very rich family. He does not like Vartika because she was so ideal and always tries to be in the good book of everyone.

One day the college organized one night camp for students so that they may be aware of the natural benefits and enjoy the beauty of nature. So all the students were invited to the camp. Vartika also joined them, but Riya (her classmate) was getting jealous of her as the principal always used to appreciate her so she made an evil plan with her friends to plot Vartika and destroy her image and reputation as she was the star of everyone’s eyes. Her plan was very dangerous but still, she planned to destroy and ruin the life of Vartika. With her some friends she managed to call Vartika on the hilly sight and started fighting. Vartika told her very politely not to fight and let's enjoy the trip but Riya did not listen to her.

Accidently she pushed Vartika and she felt down from the hills, Riya became very furious as she committed blunder and Vartika’s life was in danger. When the news spread to the principal Riya managed to convince him by showing some edited footage that due to her own mistakes she felt down. But still, everyone was in search of Vartika. When Vivian came to know about this accident, without caring about his own life he went down to the hills and the valleys in search of Vartika. His this behavior embarrassed Riya as he should not go to save her life but still, he went. 

Vivian managed to save the life of Vartika and brought her in his lap to the campsite. After seeing his this gesture towards Vartika, Riya became very obsessed and upset and did not talk to him.

Vivian was also very confused about why he risked his life to save Vartika’s life even he didn't like her. There were many questions that were unanswered for him and Vartika too. When Vartika came to know that it was Vivian who saved her life; she unwillingly thanked him. According to her vision, Vivian always tries to do mischiefs and try to act over-smart so she had a fixed mindset that he had done this to occupy a great position in the heart of college students and become the hero of the college. So, she told her that this act had not impressed her and she did not believe in his intentions. Vivian also replied very rudely which resulted in a fight between them.

Time flews very fast and one-day Vartika went to the hospital for the checkup of her mother. She found Vivian there; she doubted on him and tried to confirm her doubt by asking the doctor why he came there?

The answer of the doctor stunned Vartika as Vivian was suffering from cancer. A disease that is incurable and results in the death itself. Vartika was shocked and she started thinking about Vivian's positive qualities. She talked to the doctor and asked him that is there any solution to cope up with this situation? Is there any way to save Vivian's life? The doctor replied Vartika that there is a way but its almost impossible. Vartika's answer was “I can do anything for him” you just only tell me the way. The doctor said you will have to give your bone marrow if it matches but this procedure will adversely affect your life. Vartika told, the doctor yes! I am ready for this. You kindly make all the preparations and verify all the tests. By the sake of lord almighty Vartika Bone marrow matched with the Vivian and she decided to donate her bone marrow to save Vivian's life. So, one day she arranged all the plan with the doctor to call Vivian to the hospital for bone marrow transplant. Vivian reached there and the doctor gave him the good news that your life could be saved due to a girl. Vivian anxiously wanted to know about her so he asked the doctor to tell everything about her, but the doctor did not disclose any details and told him to meet her after the transplantation. Vivian agreed on the doctor's suggestion and went for the surgery. After the surgery, Vivian asked about that girl and when she came into the room he was surprised! She was none other than Vartika !! Vivian asked her why did she did this? She should not put her life into the risk due to him !! Vartika replied to himthat you also saved my life when everyone thought I am dead. You did not lose hope. If you had left the hope that time I would not be here now .. then how could I left you alone in this critical situation!!

Both of them was looking into each other’s eyes and smiling as if they have no fear to lose their lives instead they care and love each other beyond words and feeling. They were silent thinking “If you personify love in times of trouble, hardships then you are truly one of the mighty. In those moments of pain, I saw you right to my soul and know that my faith in you, my love for you is eternal. ” Lastly, Vivian proposed Vartika saying “My love was not like a beautiful song, but like opening a book and finding a language you had never seen before. Your love is different, something beautiful meeting you is like meeting an enigma.” She smiled and both of them decided to be with each other in every worst situation of life. This was a contradictory relationship that ends at love. Yes! they were opposite, in nature, background but the unsaid feeling brought them together.
