There was a bright flash of light a great pain and then there was nothing….

Lily Myers woke up 3 days later in an unfamiliar room. All she remembered was a flash of light and then an unbearable pain before she had lost her consciousness. She tried to open her eyes and then slowly testing her limbs moving them around to see if they were fine. She then slowly got up from the bed wincing as her body still hurt from that accident, She looked around trying to figure out where she was and for some reason, the room looked familiar as if she had been there before but she couldn't remember it.

She tried to find anything in the room that would help her remember, and then she found a loose floorboard, and in it was a small torn book that looked a lot like a journal. She picked up the book and opened it. At the top of the page in a perfect cursive handwriting was the initials L.M. It could be hers she thought and started to read it. She read about how she had tortured those poor kids and she read about her final plan and how she was to go down in her way. As she read her mind grew darker her thoughts scarier and when she finished reading about what she had done she looked up you could see something deadly flash for a second under her big wide smile and a haunting look behind her eyes. But then it was gone.

2 days later they let her and she started walking back to the address on the book and reached an old house with paint peeling off the edges. As she was going to enter the house, she saw 2 kids, a boy and girl walking together with a smile on their faces and the girl laughing at something he just said. No one deserves to be happy thought Lily; happiness is just a myth spits not real and all the smiles hid the pain behind it. So, she picked up a broken piece of wood and walked over to the children and mercilessly killed them believing that she was doing them a favor. she then walked up to her own house and when she walked instead, she smelt the stench of blood. Good, she thought to herself, she must have helped more people before the accident she decided to examine the house to see if she could remember anything. she couldn’t however, she found a lot of knives that she could use and she took a few of them and went outside.

While walking she saw a lot of people a lot of them with a sad look on their faces. At least they are not hiding their sadness thought Lily. What she didn’t know was that all these people had lost their loved ones to a murderous killer. The killer was dead now but their loved ones would be lost forever. Lily continued her walk and then she saw him, a guy with the widest smile on his face but there was something else about him she just didn’t know what. She went up to him and he started to say something but before he could finish Lily slit his throat and as he fell there was a flash, she saw herself dancing with him under the stars and then laughing. She knew him she realized with a shock but it didn’t matter because she had put him out of his misery. She walked back home as she had gotten tired of the place, it was a boring, sad place and she had no clue as to why she liked New Orleans enough to buy a house in the city. She went to bed after she came back as she was tired after her evening stroll. Just before she fell asleep she saw another flash this time of her running away from someone laughing. These flashes…. That’s not her….it cant be then who was it?

The next few days past with the usual - killing at least 2 people in a day.by the end of the week you could barely recognize her. Her once tanned skin is now a sickly pale color, her smile haunted and there was no more happiness in her eyes, but she didn’t notice any of this.

Instead, she continued killing people and then finally the day had come. There was an old warehouse on the other side of the city and the people working there had tried to stop her from doing her job, of removing happiness from the world, and today they were going to pay for that. She spent 2 hours in a small, stuffy bus that reeked of cologne, but it was worth it. Finally, she reached the warehouse and took out 2 huge bottles of a vile-smelling liquid and poured it everywhere then she took out a lighter flicked it on and threw it. she laughed as she saw the whole place burn and then she heard it. A loud piercing scream and that scream brought everything back to her. She fell to her knees and she felt something wet pouring down her face and as the fire engulfed her she realized that that diary was never hers….
