"The boy standing by the crematory "

Prompt-Existentialism

Sadako was looking for families affected by war in Hiroshima and Nagasaki he was having a friendly colloquy with his friend former embassy worker in Japan Neil o Micheal, who was the rarest of the rare, despite being an  American he understood the pain of the Japanese people.

Sadako was curiously looking at the picture which comprised of a boy with his little brother and his brother’s head titled due after effect of atomic bombings and it was taken outside a crematory.

“Why are you obsessed with finding this boy we tried our best in both countries I don’t we can find him now,” asked Niel.

Sadako looked at Niel with pain and anger he said I don’t know but I see the fire in this guy to live even after losing things that's a trait very hard to find in people nowadays.

When the image was made public in 1989, Sadako realized that he remembered the boy's face. He says he first met him at the Penza National Elementary School, now the city-run Penza Elementary School, in the spring of 1945, and they played together on multiple occasions. Sudoku didn't know his name, but noticed his clothes and build resembled that of the child in the photo.

Sudako was 11 when the bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. He remembers meeting the boy again after those events, at the mountain behind his home. He says the boy was carrying a baby aged about 1 on his back, and said, "My mother isn't here," to which he replied, "Maybe she's looking for you." Sudako says the boy then averted his eyes and descended from the mountain and that was the last he has heard from the boy.

After some months or so Neil enters Sadako's office and tells him you owe me a cheeseburger and a big thank you Sudoku looks at him ever so amazed and asked him “and why must I do that “ because my friend, it seems as if we have solved the mystery of the boy in the photo; he replied.

He was amazed, happy, and felt a plethora of emotions, he couldn't understand whether to stand or to sit with him it felt like a new ray of hope.

Neil said before you all get too excited I want you to know that you guys must have dabbled in poverty in America. I know that he has a crippled brother for whom he works two times and saves money I know from my sources that both of them are very shy and reserved one of my guys heard the little brother talking about Japan before he was shushed by his elder brother maybe they want their identity undisclosed you should be extra careful.

The next day Sudako appeared with Rice with muso on his doorstep hoping to get to connect with him he opened the door and couldn't resist crying after Sudako gave the food and introduced him, he thought he would never meet anyone from his old life ever again but to his surprise he was wrong they both chatted like four hours reminiscing memories of school and the dreadful day they lost everything.

Sadako said that you should come home someday he was elated to hear the invitation and next year, in no day he reached Sadako's home. They both bonded over a couple of things and most importantly rice and miso he looked at Sudako’s picture with the former president peary Newman's son Harry Newman the boy said it’s sad he is dead now, I said pardon what did you say he ruffled and change topic he said nothing” I was just thinking about home you said you were going to a party right “ yes tomorrow"

Then Sudako replied "At peary’s house

nice that you enjoy your life I have work tomorrow morning I’ll take your leave." He was in such a hurry he left his umbrella, however, Sudako saw it and ran to give him thinking he might get wet.

Sadako was getting ready for the party at Harry until the night he heard the news from Niel that Peary died. He was very ill for a few days doctor said it was ignored for many days now it has developed into something serious. Sadako was taken a step back he thought "How could this be real?" The boy behind all of this just ignored the fact and went to the funeral to pay his respects to his dad.

He was in the house consoling Harry, both Neil and Sadako were there for Harry.

Harry said I’m scared for my life a few days before he got the news of the death of the then secretary of state Chilton Defence Minister Harbor Newman, and an External Minister Robert Potter. They all died due to some ailment but I don’t know if something just doesn't feel right.

Sadako heard that and he thought, it must be a hoax while leaving near the umbrella stand he saw the same umbrella as it was with the boy he asked "Whose it was?" and the answer was "Harry gave." This shook him he said, "Oh it was my dad’s id." He was a nice person and also of Asian descent and also he was recommended by Chilton and he also worked with Robert potter for a while.

It wasn't long enough before he connected the dots and rushed to the boy’s house, nobody was there just a little note he left for me in aid-:

I lost my family due to the fight of silly politicians and many like my brother can’t even walk now because of politicians of this country in the year 1945 even after the the the Nadman declaration they attacked us and Peary Newman was the last person alive in the so-called leadership. I have ended them, I ended them, all you will hear from me now onwards don’t that you found me coming to you letting you discover me was my idea to close your crazy idea once and for all that I was alive. What I did they deserved every bit of it and I have not regretted it.

Sadako after getting the letter sobbed for like 10 years old he had this multitude of emotions, he couldn't understand what to feel. He felt that he finally found a friend from the past but sadly it didn’t stay for longer every night he feels the longing to go home back to his family who is no more there but who will blame here the boy, just wanted the best for his nation who wanted to punish the people who had taken his life but what made him choose this path? what made him the person he is today?

A person runs like a fugitive who has no emotion while dating other people’s life this is what war does to people, even children have scars that go dangerous when it goes unnoticed this was the story of many the boys near the crematory.
