The Black Hole

His life force was melting away and he was being sucked in at full force by the cigarettes he had for food and the dark thoughts he had for dessert. He thought she would save him.

He sat silently fuming at his phone. It rings, he knows it does but when he looks at the screen, he can only see her smile in his wallpaper staring back at him. He imagines the phone ringing again and again till it starts happening sadistically in his head. He falls asleep. Still confusing his head with reality but sure that he's still waiting for something, one way or another. He waits even in his dreams. He waits till even his wants for her overcome his needs. He waits and waits till what feels like forever and he stares and stares at the screen till what looks like oblivion. He still doesn't get it. He doesn't even want to try to think that now, getting here was his need. She is everything he dreams but nothing he imagines. She is everything he hopes until he realizes, she did save him. She saved his lungs, but she failed to save his life. She had pulled him away from a black hole just to push him into another. He hadn't known that two black holes could be so close together.
