My Little Travels

Once Upon A Time, I thought I would get to see the world in its entirety. That I could stand on a tower rising high above the world but since I couldn't build a tower high enough, I now travel through my library which incidentally is also where I live. All my journeys compel me to take new ones. In the safety of my nest, I soar high above all the unknown skies and touch down upon those very lands that man has left to explore.

Abandoned islands are the best, the ones that have been evacuated and the places that will soon cease to exist as their voices are drowned out by the roaring waves of the sea. My little travels to these places will soon be forgotten, my tower will fall but before that something will rise. I hope it’s one of my islands that drowned.
