Once there lived a poor girl and her name was Roshni. Her parents worked day and night to earn so that they can send her to school. They used to get a little amount of money every day. So, Roshni said can I work with you, her parents wanted to say no, unfortunately, they had to say yes. So, she started working with her parents. After working for one year, they saved lots of money, and because of Roshni they were getting more amount of money day by day. Saving of money made them rich enough and Roshni started to go to school.
In school, she had no friends. Many days passed, then also she didn’t have one friend and her parents were in the position to die. After some days they died. She was very sad as she only had her parents with whom she can play, spend her time, share things and much more. Now she was more alone then first but then also she kept confidence and moved on. Many years passed she had no friends. She used to spend her time alone
Now she was in 10th standard then her class realized how she was suffering being alone. Her classmates understood but no one went near her and asked her will you be my friend. She used to do her household work, study hard and sleep, next day get up, get ready, and go to school, like this continued for many months. Then, one day she went to everyone in the class and asked will you be my friend. Everyone said no, she became very sad. She was happy that every time the teachers appreciated her efforts and behaviour but her classmates thought that she is always overconfident and arrogant as she was never seen speaking to anyone and they also assumed that, she has bad thoughts so she will also make us bad.
In 11th and 12th they all were in same school but when they have to go to 1st year they all were in different colleges. Roshni has to run here and there for admission as she had no parents and friends to help her. She got the admission in PCCOE [PIMPRI CHINCHWAD COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING] and now she was thinking about her studies, no. of books that she has to study, practical’s and exams. She thought that there will be new classmates, a new class, new teachers, everything new and especially many friends. The first day she had no friends but she ignored it. Many days passed, still she had no friends. She tried again as to how she had done in 10th. She asked everyone, they all said no. She became sad again.
She was not able to focus on her studies because of the feeling of why everyone doesn’t want to be her friend. One day she sat in the corner and she started crying one girl saw her but she ignored it. Her name was Aasha, she saw that Roshini is crying every day, and thought why she is crying. She asked her classmates they said maybe she has no friends, she now understood why was she crying. She thought I am a fool because I had ignored her. She ran to Roshni wiped her tears and asked her will you be my friend. She happily said yes. Then Aasha called all her classmates. Now Aasha said to them please be a friend with her because she is living alone without her parents from 5th. All of them realized and agreed with Aasha and they all became ready to be friend of Roshni. She was very happy now that her best friend was Aasha. They lived together, ate together, they visited every place together and did all daily activities together.
Living together, doing all the work together they learned to live their life. The classmates learned to be friendly and Roshni learned that how painful it is to be alone in life and vowed to be friend with anyone who is alone in life and spread happiness. So, we all should live to have an open mind and good thoughts to help people in need, become friends, and live happily together.
