Temple Bell

I came to Chennai, the capital of our state to continue my education. Initially I missed my home town a lot. When ever I got leave, I returned to my home town. So I'll be waiting for every week end with lots of hope. I run to bus and run from stop to my home. That two days would be the best of that week. During the week days I'll shut myself inside a room feeling for my native town. I completed my graduation in four years. Many said that the days went so soon but for me it wasn't so. I got work in one the top company in Chennai. As I got a decent job my family decided to arrange a marriage for me. Then within one year I got a child for me. My life became more busy. I realised that my earnings must be increased. So I worked day and night. I didn't even call my mom and speak for several days.

One night when I was returning from job my mom called and asked me to return home town for a festival. Then only I realised that it was more than a year since I went to my home town. I also realised that I couldn't put leave on that day. So I refused her wish. But my wife too compelled me and so under compulsion I accepted to take her and my child to my native town. I was under great pressure. My work load increased a lot. I was doing my job even during travel time. Then once my wife asked me to wake from seat and it was my home town. Without knowing myself thousands of beautiful songs are getting to me. I felt like a prince. Sharply when I got down from my bus I heard the temple bell sound which destroyed all my sadness..
