Shree Swami Samarth, the universe in himself. He still guides thousands of followers in the normal and tough phases of their life. 

His devotees wishes come true when devoted to his feet and wish-less devotion gives them mokshya.

Narasimha-Saraswati incarnation in Swami Samarth's awatara freed many from the effect of their sines. 

He had mostly sent his life in the forest and had traveled many parts of India. Starting from Kardawali forest covering Calcutta, Bangladesh, Haridwar, Kedareshwar, Hyderabad, Pandharpur, Begampure, Solapur. He stayed 12 years in Mangalwedha. Finally, he chooses to stay in Akkalkot.

He loved staying in the forest. Even if anytime he chooses to come to any nearby locality, he used to select a dirty place to sit and use to eat any offered food. 

People use to treat him as a mad person, unknown to the fact that he was the universe in himself.
