One day two farmers came to him to get justice. The matter was related to one farmer having sold his agricultural land to other farmers and farmers who had purchased the land during the course of farming had found a vessel full of gold coins buried under the earth. The farmer who had purchased land wanted to return vessel filled with gold coins to a farmer from whom he had purchased the land under the justification that he had purchased only agricultural land and treasure buried under that land belonged to the seller. On hearing the matter King Yudhisthira derived pleasure that religious traits have been imbibed and being exhibited in business dealings.

To pronounce justice he asked both of them about their children. Selling farmer had a daughter and purchasing farmer had a son and both were of marriageable age. He asked them if they are willing to marry their children and enter in to a new relationship. Both agreed instantaneously and then he asked for the vessel to be brought and provided the decision of vessel to be handed over to the daughter of selling agricultural land farmer and after marriage as a Lakshmi bring the vessel to the agricultural land purchaser father her father-in-law's house.
