She took to him to forget him, but she could forget none. Not that one relationship ended while the other started, both were simultaneously ongoing for some time one was low tide slowly ebbing away when the other high tide gradually brought him in. Her left hand was letting go of him while her right hand was reaching out for another.

He never knew what love was. For him existence was the most natural thing as being born. Being the eldest son, growing up among brothers and sisters, studying commerce, working in his father's shop, taking up the family responsibility was the most regular thing to do. So he was married right in time to a beautiful girl, bore her children, a boy and a girl, took care of his parents, lived in harmony with his brothers family in their ancestral house.

He woke up early regularly, regularly dropped his children off at the bus stop, had breakfast of paratha dahi and opened the office computer regularly on time.He lived in a small town, his office located nearby his house. At lunch he went home had dal, chawal, sabji, raita and a sweet, he had a weakness for sweets. Regularly he walked back to the office after lunch. Pan time was at 3 pm and chai time was 5 pm. Chai used to come from the nearby chawl, he along with 4 other co-workers had chai together. His elderly father, in whose name the office was licenced came regularly at 6 pm with a big polythene bag of fruits.

At 7 he closed his office and rode back home on his bike. They had fruits after dinner regularly. He and the brother and father had dinner together while the women folk served them. He regularly waited for his wife to complete her chores and come to bed. He had sex at a regular interval, it was a natural thing to do. He was an enigma she could not solve. His whole life was passing by and he knew nothing about love. His brown eyes had a stillness of distant clouds, he was a beautiful Aries man whom god had created and left upon the earth to do everything that is natural without knowing love.He had everything one could ask for from life, till he met her.

He on the other hand, was a born lover and a looser too. None of the women he loved ever loved him back, they used his money, his power, his car but not one loved him. Not even his own mother or sister or his wife loved him. Being the third boy child of his mother, he grew up here and there not getting much attention from his mother who was busy bearing a fourth child. Not getting loved in the family he searched for it outside.

There was this young girl in his village whom he liked and thought it as his first love which was not to be. She chose a fruitful marriage over him, a tall lanky guy with no job no money. His job took him away from the village home, he roamed the cities, slept in the open, in barracks, always ready for action. His meals were sometimes scanty, sometimes opulent. He had the gift of the gab, always talking, always shifting his gaze. He tried to find love in marriage, his children but to no avail.

He turned into a hurricane of destruction and restlessness. His Facebook pages were filled with his own pictures, his Aryan looks, his drooping dog eyes, his uniform gave him an attractive persona. He was extremely proud man almost had a superiority complex. His pride came not from his education or work but from his awareness of his beauty and the effect he had on women. He had that effect on her too, recklessly driving his bike through the town. He never actually looked at any woman, he had never actually loved any woman, he loved himself too much. She barged into his life.

When she came into his life, he felt alive and energised. She taught him slowly in languid afternoons the art of conversation, thoughts strung into words, of a different world. She took upon herself to teach him the way she wanted for her man to be, all the mannerisms. He found meanings into things which he never knew existed. She taught him how to love. She was a new toy, he never wanted to let go. He became addicted to her. But that was not to be.

When she barged into his life, he felt calm and composed, for the first time he knew he found what he had been searching, the perfect sense in all the chaos. He finally found peace. She almost always gave him what he wanted, teaching yet again a different man, how to love. She taught him restraint. He desperately tried to own her, hold her down, never let go. But that was not to be.

But that was not to be. She and her affection never stayed at one place for long. They were both rolling stones. They gathered no moss. She left them both. She left the town.

He forgot her. He turned to his wife, kids, family, friends and he loved them all... he finally knew how to love. His heart was new.

He forgot her too. He too turned to his mother, sister, wife, friends, kids and he loved them all. He finally knew how to love. His heart was new.

She took to him to forget him, but she could forget none... they both shared the same name!!!
