Seven Days

The phone began to ring. As soon as Casey heard the melodious tune of her phone, she felt a chill run down her spine. Although it was sweet to her ears, it was like a knife to her heart. She felt so horrified that she dare not move a step away from her sitting place. She had watched a surprisingly evil but odd video. It contained scenes like cut fingers moving in a bowl, a black cat crossing her path, dead dogs, blood moon and many other uncanny experiences. Before she had watched the video she was warned by another friend that after watching the video, she would receive a phone call and would hear, "Seven Days". Unknowingly her shivering legs took pace and brought Casey near the phone. Her icy cold hands suddenly picked up the receiver and placed it near her pale face. To her surprise, she heard the exact same words "Seven Days". As soon as these words entered her ears travelling to her brain, her reflexes were lost and the receiver fell from her hands.

Having seen the video and experiencing the same incident which her friend had narrated, she's recollected that 'seven days' meant that she was just left with a week in her life. All this had an adverse effect on Casey's mental health. She started laughing hysterically, pulling her hair, crying at the same time and causing a havoc in her house. She had gone crazy. Her mother who had gone out to the supermarket returned and looking at Casey's condition was terrified. She was so surprised that no reflex of hers was working but then, she gathered herself together and calmed Casey, while calling the ambulance.

The incident had left Casey with several wounds, both internal and external. Even when she was given an injection to calm her down, she kept saying "Seven... Seven only seven". Her mother Ira was scared Casey was all lively and excited before she had left the house to buy some food ingredients as her relatives were coming home that evening. Just then, she received a message on her phone it was of her relative's. It said, "Seven days, we will be coming to your home after 7 days. We have got an emergency. I had called your landline. Although someone picked up, there was a sound of the receiver hitting the ground only after I said SEVEN DAYS...
