Sanket's Problem
Sanket's Problem
A boy named Sanket was upset and was crying. His father saw it and asked the reason for his agony.
He said that he had a lot of problems in his life!
His father smiled and asked him to get a potato, an egg, and some coffee beans! He then placed them in three different bowls.
He asked Sanket to feel their texture and then fill each bowl with water.
Sanket did as he was told to do. His father then boiled all the three bowls.
After the bowls had cooled down, Sanket’s father asked him to feel the texture of the different food items again.
Sanket noticed that the potato had become soft and its skin was peeling off easily; while the egg had become harder; and the coffee beans had completely changed and filled the bowl of water with aroma and flavor.
Sanket's father then explained to him that life will always have problems and pressures, like the boiling water in the story. It depends upon how one responds and reacts to these problems that counts the most!
