Rajeshwari

Rajeshwari is a housewife and she looks after her family. She is educated but as her family doesn't like her to go for work, she stays home and cooks, cleans, and does all the household chores herself.

She has to look after a family of 12 which consists of her children, in-laws, uncles and aunts. She never complaints about the work she has to do.

She never even thought about getting a identity for herself.

She wasn't even allowed to teach her children as her in-laws thought she has learnt things ages ago and she doesn't have the capability to teach the children.

She keeps quiet and doesn't tell anything. Her husband supports his family and is against Rajeshwari.

It was the pandemic time, Rajeshwari had to do all the household work and cook for the whole family, she never had time for herself. Everybody else in the lockdown spend their time playing, talking and catching up with their old memories and calling it as  "me-time", but Rajeshwari only could listen to all this and laugh from the kitchen.

One day, she saw her kids watching video on youtube where the lady was teaching but without showing her face, this astonished her and she found it interesting.

Rajeshwari went to the kitchen, took her kid's 1st grade book and started to record a video where she was teaching the subject and without telling anybody she started uploading them on her channel, when she had to wash the vessels she would edit them, she would make videos and upload them. She could recited video as everybody was home, she had less work to do and utilized this by making videos.

 She also started recording cooking recipes and without telling anybody she uploaded those as well. She never bothered to see the views, comments or subscribers. She just loved making videos.

One day she saw her daughter listening to one of the lessons taught by her. Rajeshwari was afraid that she would be caught. Her daughter saw the video and did her homework. Rajeshwari had tears in her eyes as she never had the opportunity to teach her kids though she could and now they were seeing her videos and learning, she was happy.

Evening her mother-in-law came to the kitchen and showed a video to Rajeshwari and asked her to cook the sweet upma as shown there, Rajeshwari saw that it was her video and she kept quiet, she was surpised that people were loving her videos and even her family.

She saw the views and they had crossed 10k and had many comments, subscribers and likes. She checked recieved a mail from youtube telling that her channel was ready to be monetized and she had tears in her eyes, she couldn't believe that her videos could earn now, she kept making videos and also started earning as well.

She decided to donate the money for the labourers and she also spoke about this to her-in-laws and husband, everybody laughed at her telling"How will you get money? You always cook and do household chores" Rajeshwari thought it was time to reveal herself and told them about her channel and her earnings, nobody could believe and were ashamed of themselves.

They agreed to support her seeing her money, they distributed food to labourers every day.

Rajeshwari had turned her passion into a profession and had also helped the society.

This pandemic has given her opportunities and identity.
