RAC Ticket Guy

In the month of April’18, I traveled from Gwalior to Indore. I got my name in waiting list somewhere around 14–15. Before leaving to catch the train, I checked the final status and got a RAC ticket.

I caught the train and sat on my seat. I was thinking with whom I am gonna share this seat…

Amidst, a guy came and stood in front of my seat. I reassembled my stuff and left half seat for him. He sat on the same seat. We just asked each other if we are the same person who is gonna share this seat. After this talk, we didn’t talk to each other for the next few hours.

He was damn busy on his phone. I must say, very very busy. After one hour, my phone rang “daru badnaam kar di”, I looked at him and he too was looking at me. I picked up the phone quickly. After talking to my family, I disconnected the phone. After 10–15 minutes, my phone rang “Daru badnaam kar di”. I was embarrassed. As such ringtones don’t suit girls. He just passed a grin.

At around 9:00 pm. we started talking like to ask for an introduction. So, it was the time to take dinner and he said he already ate food before leaving for the train. Still, I offered him and we shared my food.

Then after, I stood up and looking for my shoes to go to the washroom, he said use my slippers. I did so.

That was the moment when we started knowing and understanding each other. So, we opened a bit more.

We both shared about family, studies, dreams and everything that good friends use to talk about.

He is serving our nation. He shared his daily routine and hard work that he uses to do on a daily basis. We became friends. Someone with whom I can share everything.

We both became that kinda person for each other. By the lord’s grace, he is committed that was good news for me because it’s hard to carry friendship when two people are single. We fell asleep. Next morning, we talked more. We shared social ID’s and all of sudden I disappeared from there.

I came back to the room, sent him a request. After 2 days (As he is a part of the army) he accepted my request and we started chatting. I found him a very nice guy. Someone who respect a girl, someone who knows her comfort zone, someone who completes the sentence before saying it.

When he sat next to me, he was a stranger and when I left the train he became a part of my life. He is really an important part of my life. Whenever I find myself in depression, I use to share my problems with him and he responds for them very gently. I’m blessed to have such guy by my side.

He is Sankalp.

I wish that everyone should share the train seat with such a nice person.
