Officer lost, Daughter won!

"Goodbye papa!, All the best", wished Aman's daughter I am a cute voice as he went for his duty. 

"Goodbye my baby!", replied Aman with a kiss. 

Aman was an Income tax officer. His duty was to catch hold of the people who committed crimes in money matters. He was very much dedicated to his profession. 

Aman had a family of five- he himself, his parents, his wife, and his little daughter. He was the youngest amongst all his three brothers. 

"I'm leaving Nidhi, Take care. See you soon."

"All the best. I know you'll definitely succeed", Nidhi, Aman's wife wished him as he was going on one of the important raids of his profession.

"Thank you!", he replied Nidhi with a smile and left. 

Soon he reached his office. Everyone was getting ready for the raid. 

"Are all the documents ready? Has everything been taken?", Aman inquired about his team. 

"Yes sir!", they replied. 

Soon all of them left for the raid. They were well equipped with their necessities and mentally prepared. 

Well, I'm saying mentally prepared because the raid was to take place at the office of one of the biggest entrepreneurs in the town. However, Aman was least bothered about it because his profession was such that it demanded courage and strength at every moment. 

By 12'O Clock they reached the office. 

"We guys need to be very alert. Keep yourself ready with everything that could be needed at that time! All the best team. I believe that we can do this as successfully as we have done the earlier ones!", Aman wished and all proceeded towards the office. 

They soon began with the raid. It initially looked an easy one but everyone knew it wasn't. By 4'O clock, they couldn't get closer to even the nearest number that was expected to be found. 

"Sir, it's already been four hours and we haven't got a single proof against them!", said one of Aman's teammates. 

"I already told you, raiding at The Karla's isn't everyone's cup of tea! But you're this 32-year-old boss, he warned me as if he's the only one who'll be the reason for my end! Huh!", Mr. Kalra from a distance replied in a wicked tone. 

"You don't worry, we'll definitely find something and really soon. Just keep going!", Aman ignored Karla's statement and motivated his team. 

After working for another 2-3 hours, Aman noticed something strange in Mr. Karla's behaviour. Well, he was trying to hide something. It looked like a file. Aman became suspicious. 

"Look, there's something that he's hiding. We need to get that. Do as I say"!, Aman said to his team and they started working as per his instructions. 

Within next 120 minutes, they caught Mr. Kalra red-handed hiding documents and that too in front of senior officials. 

"So, Mr. Kalra, I think you were right. I am actually the reason for your end.", Aman taunted him. 

"Please forgive me! Please!", Mr. Kalra pleaded. 

"Sorry Mr. Kalra, you cannot be forgiven for this crime. Now senior authorities will deal with you. Come!", senior members of Aman's team replied. 

"We're proud of you Aman. You've done an excellent job. Also, you shall be recommended for promotion to further. Big congratulations to the team as well." seniors wished them and left with Kalra. 

Aman was super happy that day. He had caught hold of a criminal whom none could. 

He wanted to celebrate this day and so he took a big teddy bear for his daughter, two beautiful sarees for his wife and mom and a shirt for his dad. 

"Nidhi, your prayers worked. I could get Kalra arrested red-handed. They not only appreciated my and my team's work but also took into consideration my promotion", Aman told his wife on phone. 

"Wow! You come super soon. I'll have all your favorite dishes ready.", she happily replied. 

As Aman went home he took his parents' blessings and hugged Nidhi. 

"Where's Pari? I have a surprise for her!", she's right behind you. 

"Hello, Papa!"

"Hello my baby, how are you?"

"Vely good", Pari replied in a cute voice. 

"Where is my gift?" she asked. 

"I'm sorry, I forgot!" Aman said in a sad voice. 

Pari then went to her room. 

After the dinner, Aman went to Pari's room to hide the big teddy bear. As he was about to do it, Pari said "Papa, Maine dekh lia!" and ran towards Aman and hugged not only him but the teddy bear too. Along with Aman, his daughter was too happy. 

Aman who had caught hold of a criminal just a few hours before was now caught red-handed by his daughter hiding the gift! But this time, he was happy being caught. An officer here lost and a daughter won!
