Never Laugh On Others

Once upon a time, there lived three friends Rahul , Sima, & Ravi. One day, their Teacher gave them a project work, which was to be submitted the next day. So, Sima and Ravi, bought a new expensive pen to present their project in a n impressive way.

The next day, they asked Rahul whether he used a new pen for this project. Rahul said, “I haven't written with a new pen but, I have completed my project with the existing pen with me”

HaHaHa! Both his friends laughed at him, without looking at his project.

When Rahul went to his home his mother asked, why he was so sad. He replied, that his friends laughed as he hadn't used a new pen for his project. His mother said calmly, “My Son, it isn’t important which pen you write with but, it’s important that you finish the work you have been given with your best effort and content. Do not worry about the result either”.

Rahul understood the advice. The very next day their teacher evaluated their work, and Rahul was the top scorer in the class. He got appreciated in front of the whole class.

Sima and Ravi got average marks, as their content was not up to the mark. They understood their mistake and said sorry to Rahul.

Moral: Never estimate one’s worth with the expensive things they possess but with the simplicity and the inner quality he/she possesses.
