Needy People's Money Hided Cal

All the names and characters, incidents in the story are fictitious and not to hurt anyone.

The life of Indians is always peculiar, we voice out against the crime committed by someone but we soon forget it and again run behind the same person supporting him.

Here crores and crores of money are invested in cinema and I do not say entertainment is bad or something but why do we convert that entertainment into religion like worshipping the actors who earn despite the success and failure of films and we are still fighting among us supporting them.

In Income tax department office 

Phone ringing...

Raj takes the phone and responds, "good morning, sir."

"Yes sir, surely and our people are clearing their due."

"Yes sir, surely, thanks."

Raj, working as tax inspector looks after liabilities, handling refund claims and tax deduction at source. Raj got a call from assistant director of income tax regarding some fraud work going on in his office and a big shot is saved from it. Raj gets the information, a surprise awaits.

In Supreme court 

"Sir, this is a piece of clear evidence proving that Mr Ranjith is guilty of deceiving his own boss for crores and I request you to give the criminal the maximum punishments and also to help Ranjith's boss to come out of the case."

"Thank you, sir."

Ms Leela finished her points.

From the opposite bench, Mrs Swetha gets up and says, "sir, this is not such big evidence to prove Mr Ranjith is guilty and sir you should say he is guilty and Ms Leela could not say he is guilty as it is her point of view.

I think Ms Leela should think twice before making arguments."

Leela looks at Swetha and then gets back to her chair.

The judge announces to check the evidence once again without any changes made to it and adjourns the case to next week.

Leela gets up and moves out and her friend Kabilan rushes saying "wait".

Swetha and her team smile thinking of extending the timing of the case.

Leela says, "saving a criminal is equivalent to accusing thousands of good-hearted persons.

And still, some do not have ethics in their job and run behind the money."

The Swiss bank, Switzerland 

"Well, sir, your account is opened and do not forget to pay the money for maintaining your account."

"Thank you, Nathen," says Sarvan and sits in his car to catch the flight back to India.

Sarvan is a big business tycoon who runs a high-level import and export company. Sarvan takes big care of his family and he loves them so dearly such that they all spend at least one day in a week without any business tension. Sarvan loves Deepthi, his school friend and made plans of marrying her soon.

Raj checks all the files regarding the taxes paid by some middle-class people. There are many who did not pay their tax and Raj calculated the penalty and informs them. Raj sees a team from the vigilance department entering his office for enquiring some officers who took some money from some people and changing the records for them. Raj feels shameful as the vigilance department warns him severely to be careful. The people from middle class fined by Raj pays the money and returns back with a sad face.

Sarvan holds a meeting with some of his secret friends who rotate the money from some people to him and from him to some people.

Saravan listens to all and says "in our country, they find the criminal only after the damage is done. They arrest the criminal to show justice is attained and release when we prove ourselves good-hearted. All the money I have in my account is black money of many people since my transactions from that account are business-related so they would not question us but look that we are not caught at any point." Sarvan gets back to his table and checks with his accounts.

Village people strike in front of the bank for not granting them exemption from paying the loan or giving them the relief funds. The bank officers call the police to clear them and enter inside to drink coffee and samosa in the break. The village people get heartbroken because they have already suffered the worst.

Leela gets a call from one of her friend regarding the tensions in the village. Leela enters the village seeing all the fields drowned with water due to the heavy rain. She collects information about the officers in their village who are responsible for giving the funds to construct structures that drain water from the fields. Using the right to information act, she finds all the fund is sanctioned for use but half the way one fourth is missing but the records are manipulated so well to show money is used.

Leela files a case against all the officials responsible for the loss of money and the trial goes for weeks. Leela next starts enquiring why the bank cannot dismiss their interest alone because they are hit by natural disaster and soon finds they are charged high interests. Kabilan investigates about the loans sanctioned by the bank and soon finds a lump sum of amount of loan paid to a dealer. Leela gets shocked, still, banks are following strict rules with the common man and respecting white-collared criminals.

Leela soon asks the help of Raj and Raj checks to see tax money of many bigshots are manipulated in the records. They soon ask the help of the vigilance department to look into the matter and they confirm that black money had been transferred out of India and safely stored in a Swiss account. Leela, Raj and Kabilan work on every single detail they got for months to prepare strong evidence.

Sarvan and his pregnant wife go for a jog in the beautiful park. Sarvan says, "I am happy to spend a part of my life with you and how do you feel?" She replies, "you care for me and love me to a level that I cannot reciprocate." They both sit on a bench in the park and she rests her head on his shoulders and closes her eyes.

Sarvan gets a call from his source saying his office is raided and all his transactions are being checked by the income tax department. The news flashes down over all the channels stating the biggest raids over all the houses of suspects and checking the tax records maintained at the same time for the first time.

Sarvan and his family sit down in the hall and watch the news while Sarvan sweats heavily and shouts at all to change the channel. Sarvan enters his room and calls all his sources but all in vain. All his sources were caught. Sarvan calls his friend Nathen in Switzerland over a satellite phone and enquires about his account. Nathen replies, "yeh Sarvan, some Indian officers are here to enquire about your account.

But do not worry, here the laws of banks are strict and you will be safe."

The news flashes with sentences: 

Over 10,000 crore of India's money is sleeping in banks across the world.

It is not black money or the money of those who deposited it in the swiss banks.

It is the money to be given by mother india to her people who suffer.

These people don't just hide and store the money but the development and happiness of the country.

A family watching this changes the channel saying a new movie is telecasted which is so good speaking about black money.

Sarvan gets arrested and all who asked his help made him scapegoat stating he is the mastermind behind this. Sarvan demanded respect during all the investigations and filed a case to not make him physically hurt. Leela looks at the demand and smiles, these criminals demand all without any conscience. The saying that conscience kills the criminal is still a statement.

The investigation goes on for the next ten years and people forget who is Sarvan and what happened at that time. Another five years go, Sarvan in jail gets parole to visit his family one day. He enters his home and he hugs his mother and looks at his father smiling in a photo.

His wife and children run towards him and he kissed his children with love. He spends his day and his children hug him saying "daddy please do not go, Daddy, please."

Sarvan sits down and says, "your father is a criminal and I do not want you to be called the children of criminals in the society. Hereafter, you have only your mother to love, fight and stay with you. But remember one thing, your father is residing in jail and if you want to hate anyone, I am always there" and cries and hugs his children.

All the black money out of the county stayed there and still no one except Sarvan related to the case was arrested. Leela writes in her diary that  Justice is served not when the criminal is arrested but when the people affected by the crime is helped.
