I was about to write my project when a message flashed on the screen. If you want safety, stay away from him- Marleyn. Generally, I do not believe in messages but don't know why, I wrote," Is it possible for us to meet today?" The prompt reply came, "How about Paramount Cafe, tomorrow evening 5 o'clock?" A meeting was fixed.

I reached Paramount Cafe. she was there waiting for me. A very decent- looking, beautiful young woman in her forties. After the introductory pleasantry, we came to the point. "Who are you and how do you know this man, from whom you warn others to stay safe?" In one breath I sent a blow of questions.

"Now, you know, I am Marleyn. Reyan was my husband, our relationship lasted only for 4 months. God bless Reva if it wasn't she, I would not have been alive today talking to you, I felt her shivering. She continued. Now I know him. I do not want any innocent girl fall prey to his malicious designs." She released a deep sigh.

"I want to know everything from beginning to end." I patted her hand.

"We met at a day- care centre. He had come to drop his son. He said that his wife had died and had no relative to look after the child. He seemed very honest and miserable, and I easily believed in him. Gradually we developed liking for each other. One day he asked for dinner, before going on a blind date, I thought to check about Reyan. I searched dating sites and what I found shook my world, literally pulled carpet under my feet. He was charged of his wife's murder. A trial was held but in the absence of solid witnesses he could not be proved guilty of the crime and was released."

"And you still married him!" I asked disapprovingly.

" Haven't you heard love is blind. I countered Rayan and he convinced me that his wife and her relatives wanted to falsely hook him in the murder. He didn't kill her, he loved her more than his own life. I believed in him, and we got married. But one day a message caught my attention. It was the message of Reyan's sister-in- law, Jiva's sister. it was a warning campaign for women to beware of him. I decided to meet her. We were married for 4 months. Reyan was a changed man. I frequently experienced his mood swings. He sometimes became so violent that he would bang my head on the wall. That evening I met Reva. She told that her sister was mad after Reyan and would not listen to the family and married him. Soon she came to know that he had extra marital relations with number of women, but it was too late, she was pregnant."

"Oh God!"I could barely blink my eyes.

My sister tried to save her marriage at any cost. she believed that the arrival of the child will improve their relationship.

After the baby's birth six months passed. Everyone believed things were on right track but then one day a news broke us completely; Jiva was murdered."

"What he'll, Oh My, my...."

Ryan told the police that he left home for a routine football practice at 8 o'clock in the evening. Jiva told him that she was tired and going to retire. He returned at 10 o'clock, opened the main door with the duplicate key, went to his bedroom and found Jiva lying in pool of blood, someone has shot her dead."

"Oh, so it wasn't Reyan...?"

He lied. Jiva wasn't shot dead. She had been killed with a knife. There were many deep knife wounds allow her body. Surprisingly the boy was safe. No valuables were removed. The police found many in discrepancies in his statement. Later his neighbors, servants and friends were interrogated. The police collected the information that he was a habitual offender, liar and dishonest. He was caught red-handed in a theft case. He begged forgiveness and was granted so but did not mend his ways. He was fired when he was caught stealing again. This time instead of feeling ashamed, he became so violent, had others not intervened he might have called the employer."

"What a devil of the man! Jiva must get justice."

"I divorced Ryan and filed a case against him. This time there was solid evidence. A little box without contact lenses. Jeeva couldn't have gone to sleep with contact lens on. Her body was exhumed and contact lenses were found. Reyan was arrested. He was charged of first-degree murder."

"Finally, justice prevailed."
