My Quarantine Diary ( Day 17 )
Day 17

Dear Diary,
It's the 17th day of my lockdown. I am much better now.
Though it was not a good day. When I woke up today, I got the news about the demise of Bollywood star Irrfan Khan who was known internationally for his roles in some famous movies like "Life Of Pi" and "Slumdog Millionaire". He was one of the finest actors I have seen so far.
Though work pressure is less today and I completed my work early. After that, I had a long discussion with my parents and sister about the situation of lockdown in my hometown in India.
Within a few months, the entire world got chan
ged. With daily death rates and the numbers of those infections, it is clear that Covid-19 has cut a disproportionate swathe through our elderly and infirm. Hence I am a bit worried about my parents as they are growing old.
Recently, My mother’s mobile phone stopped working due to some technical glitch, due to which she was unable to surf the Internet. So she was quite depressed the whole day and finally, with the help of a local guy, my father somehow managed to fix it.
I hope that the Govt. of all countries is really taking good steps for the protection of all senior citizens. I prayed for a while for their good health and high life condition.
Feeling gloomy tonight. Off to bed now!!
