My Quarantine Diary (Day 10)

Day 10

Wednesday 22nd April 2020 

11:40 PM

Dear Diary,

Today is indeed a busy day. I worked a lot. After work, I did some workouts with my fellow roommates and then as part of my daily routine, we cooked for dinner, and then we continued to watch the same series.

Oscar Wilde once wrote, “Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead”. 

Love is all about giving and not about seeking. Hence I decided to forgive him, to eradicate all the grudges, I hold for him but still all I wanted to have the last conversation with him with a hope that maybe he has realized something in the past one week. Maybe he realized how to respect the dignity of my life. Maybe he finally decided to take a stand for me. 

Today is my cousin's birthday. Despite this lockdown, they celebrated her quarantine birthday in a good way. Her husband cooked some delicious food. She is really fortunate as she married the person whom she loved since her school time.

I continued to read that book ‘Adultery’ and then I tried to meditate for a while. I prayed for the high life condition of both of us and decided to have a final conversation with him tomorrow.

I think that we should appreciate the little things in our life every day. Today I resolved some issues in my work. Deepest gratitude to the universe.
