"La la la, put your hands up in the air baby, dance with me baby, and ki-" I was interrupted by dad with an eyebrow wiggling over his forehead. I turned around in embarrassment. "Shit " I mumbled. "Kiss me, hard baby, love me, hard baby, la la la." He completed the song as he twirled me around my room. Then we both laughed. "Cory... I'll miss you," my dad said with a happy-sad face. "Oh, dad! I'll be fine. Besides, SPACE has a girls section too. And I'll call you every day," as I gave him a small embrace. Though it was a small one, it felt like years. I'll miss Papa. Just a year Coral !! Yeah right. 363 days without dad. 2 days of Christmas and dad's birthday. Phew. Long year? This will be one. He just wiped a fake tear. Drama king. I just adjusted my clothes as dad approved my dressing style. I wore a denim dangree with a white T underneath. He picked all my backpacks(though there are just 2) and acted, "oh Cory! Your baggage is heavy. This old man is tired." I rolled my eyes as he playfully mouthed 'just kidding' and I mouthed a 'but you aren't a kid anymore' in reply as he shrugged. I bid goodbyes as he waved all way. I was walking with my head down looking at the wooden floor.

Just then, I collided with something hard. 'Ouch' I mouthed, rubbing my head. Probably a wall. As I heard a deep voice "care to watch where you're going? " Wait, walls can't talk, can they? I looked at the culprit. Instead, I saw beautiful Aqua blue eyes one could get lost in and all the features of a model could have. Can any one person be more ... beautiful? I found him staring at my dirty grey eyes while I checked him out. I slowly mumbled, "s-Sorry." While he replied a rude answer "not okay young lady, next time... watch where you're going." He spoke the last part looking at my lips that gave a lift to my goosebumps. I said "ride" as I walked away from him. I asked a random girl where the principal office is (because I'm a new admission) and quickly gave a knock at the door. I saw a half-bald man, maybe in his mid-sixties, "Take a seat" he spoke with a smile on his face. "Morning sir," I spoke. 

"Miss Coral Gray. Welcome to SPACE academy. There is a boy's section in here too. The rules for 1-year hostel stay are -"

He started to speak while I wasn't paying any attention to his words. I thought about that boy in the corridor. Beautiful. Confident. Yet rude. I was thinking, just then Mr Huderson snapped at me, "Miss Coral. Coral. Coral !!" I said "huh." I tried to look at the plain green wall with great interest. Why can't I get him outta my mind dammit? Ugh.
