Maya!!

Maya, a lovely woman on the inside and out, was not mentally sound. I met Maya on my way back home. When she was sitting next to me and couldn't help but start chit chatting with her as she was bit doing self talk and was behaving a bit abnormal. Which made me more curious to know what exactly is wrong with her or else what went wrong with this beautiful lady.

Afterwards, she informed me that she is doing much better. I should have previously seen her. She used to engage in a lot of self-talk that was damaging to her marriage as well as to her own clothes, pictures. Her husband tried everything, including pandit ji, different hawans, pooja, and astrology, psych treatments. including electric shocks.

All in vein. She had four children, and one of the panditji informed her husband that as their youngest child grew, she would start to feel better. I don't believe in astrology, but her husband made sure she received mental health care without therapy. Her spouse gave her a great family life and was supportive enough to avoid placing her in any sort of mental health facility.

Okay, but how did you get to this point? I asked. She stated that depression was the catalyst. She believes she should have told her parents that her sister wasn't happy and how her husband treated her before she died as a result of her husband poisoning her. She refused to answer because her sister asked her to stay mum. If only she had told her parents. She would have still had her sibling.

Her youngest child arrived to take her home as her stop passed by. She waved and grinned at me.
