Luck Down Or Luck-Rising

I technically understood the phrase'down to earth' when lockdown started. A huge mass of our population including me are now locked in our own houses. I started to realize what is essential in life. The list of necessary things minimized itself only to food items.

No cosmetic is needed as l have to go nowhere.No nonveg is essential in my menu because of nonavailability of it. Now a days fast-food is not peeping out of my plate. I feel no interest in shopping sites as I know they are not going to deliver anything to me. After evening my metro town resembles my village in 1990. Only electricity is variation.

I can manage with a fan if my air conditioner goes out of order because of impossible repair. Even I can throw my phone if someone says the virus can come through the Internet. I fear I may break my TV set if it comes out that cable is a good carrier of the virus. I the person who had no time some months before having a lot of time to pass. Without many 'seems necessary things' we are spending our lives.

Really now I am down to earth. Instead of searching for flight tickets l am watching the rose of my garden. Instead of the boring sounds of the vehicle carrying me to the working place I am listening to Jagannathastakam.The fear of the unseen danger had taught me to live a peaceful and spiritual life.

Am I improving? Have I come over the stage where material things are necessary? Is the process of leading towards a better life has begun? Is something forcing us towards divinity? Will the world be different after this crisis?

No one in the past had thought of this type of future. So time is the question and time will be the answer. Be safe and become a part of this change.
