After that day every day, Lakshmi used to go to everyone's house and collect the clothes. Then she was keeping them at the front door of the washerman. Every person noticed it and complained near the king. The washerman was called in darwar. He confessed that clothes are with humans assured all to them. Then he went to Lakshmi's house and said "I appreciate your gratefulness but what you done is wrong . To bring others belongings without their permission is called thief so you should not do that again ". Lakshmi placed her trunk upon the washerman's hand assuring him to obey his words. After that, no one complained of theft of clothes and sometimes Lakshmi was seen helping others.
