Last Night

I woke up in his arms, I am sure his arm must be sore till now as my head is too bulky unlike the slim lightheaded girls! It was 4 am. My movement woke him up as the bed made a loud cracky noise when I moved my weight from one side to the other in an attempt to get out of the bed. Now that I got him awake WE HAD TO TALK. Nooo please nooo, I wished invisibility to wrap me up. In a day I almost felt it ten times or maybe more that God should have created NON-EXISTENT MODE. I swear I would have never turned it off, but today I wished for it the most. With the clock ticking away I was prepared to face it now, I had to face this some day. Since running quietly was out of plan I bravely decided to execute plan B. Which was -

"Rohan whatever happened last night was a mistake" pause "My mistake" I sighed and then looked at him from the corner of my eye, I wasn't ready to face him yet. His face was expressionless or maybe I saw a little trace of smile, which got me panicked and then the words flooded.

"Rohan I was drunk last night, too much to be in my senses. Aisha made fun of my weight in front of the whole class and I needed something which could help me get over the insult. I had no idea what I was doing and what I was not doing. Don't think that I am a regular drinker, trust me I have touched drink even lesser than the times I went to gym. And then you showed up out of nowhere. I had no idea what made me so brave to go and confess my feelings for you, for the most popular boy in our class. Trust me I had no plan to do this, EVER. Ohh yes! I completely understand, I understand you are not interested in me, Of course I understand. You don't need to be worried about breaking my heart. No no no, please don't be worried about this. I will act normal in class and not even raise my eye to look at you"

I realised that I spoke so fast that he did not even get a chance to react. He was calmly looking at me trying to catch up with my flow. I was sure I had mixed words, used wrong grammar, and shivered. Just a banner of ' SOCIAL ANXIETY' was missing.

So yes this happened, Last night I drank too much so I can forget the part where Aisha made fun of me. Rohan showed up in the same bar with his friends, and I, with drink overpowering my senses, went to him and confessed that I have a crush on him. I was so drunk that he had to literally drag me to my dorm and put me on my bed (I am sure the dragging part required a lot of strength), When he was about to leave I grabbed his hand and did not let it go. Until I woke up an hour later to realise what I had just done.

Rohan smiled at me. Why was he smiling? Do I look funny? Is there something on my face?

Then he finally broke his silence.

"You are cute" OMGG this is the first person except for my mom who said that.

He patted me softly "Calm down I am not going to eat you up. Umm.. I always wanted to talk to you but you rush out of class as soon as the teacher leaves. You don't need to look like a fashion model, be what you are because you are beautiful when you are yourself."

I was dumbfounded. I did not know what to say but now I did feel calm, like something took away all the anxiety magically.

He got up grabbed his back and headed towards the door. Ohh! I want him to stay!!

He then turned, I stayed at the place I was,

"Jenna, will you mind if I ask you on a cheeseburger date?"
