Kindness

What is kindness? All religions tell us to be kind to each other. They define kindness as the ability to love others as our family. However, we currently live in a world where people hate themselves. The family bonding is continuously weakening. We are too much in our careers and interests that we tend to ignore our family's wishes. We do love them but do not spend much attention, as we should. We are different priorities, and this makes us almost self-centered. In the current crisis, everyone is advocating on the importance of kindness. Humans across the globe have become victims of the disease. Though we might not be infected, we are affected through some means. Our financial resources are dwindling, and so is job security. I think now would be the ideal time to ask these questions. What entails kindness? Would it qualify as a kind gesture if we donate money? Would it be enough? How do we find kindness within us? I do hope this would not be my last post in the quest for kindness.
