Journey To The Dark Secret

"Today’s beautiful morning, windy day, flowing water, blooming flowers, and one of the dark side of my life to which I am unknown," said Lily opening the windows of her house. Lily a charming, polite and an intelligent girl who always has a question in her mind about the past. “Past”, Yes! you heard it right, that had happened with her long ago. She lived in a very beautiful island named BORNEO just like a dream world. She was living with her granny Alice who was a cruel lady. Granny Alice used to scold her and punish her for no reason. Lily failed to understand why she was behaving like this with her. But Lily was sustaining it and was encouraging herself that, “One day my granny will surely behave very nice with me”.

Lily got up, dressed pretty well and with her friend Rosalie they both went to school. Rosalie was her closest friend who had been supporting her for a long time. “I don’t know where my parents have gone?” said Lily to Rosalie with a crying voice. When I ask someone they tell that “They went to another island named LUZON, but I am totally unrevealed about this fact of losing my parents,” said Lily. “Lily stop thinking about this, you have your full life in front of you, instead of thinking about past, you think about your future, while it's your birthday today, let’s have a bit of entertainment and enjoyment,” said Rosalie. In the school, Lily enjoyed, and had fun and just forgot about her past for some time. But still, Lily was broken and hammered like a stone on stone thinking of her past.

One-day Lily bought a book of thriller, suspense and horror named “Deep in the Mystery of Elizabeth’s Life”. She started reading it and while she was reading the book she related the main character Elizabeth from the book with herself. The next morning, she went to her friend Rosalie and told her that she bought a book and the main character in the book named Elizabeth was the same as her and that story exactly relates her life. Rosalie in anger said, “This is just a story and stories are just filled with people’s imaginations and they never come true”. Lily remained questioned that, maybe what Rosalie was saying is true.

The day came when Lily had her Christmas holidays and all her friends Rosalie, Esme, Jane, Hazel, Aurora, Audrey, Lucy, Anna, Samantha, Maya, and Elena were planning to go out for a trip in their island only. But granny Alice doesn’t allow her at all and asks her to do the household work, cleaning the house, and going to the market. One day at night after doing the household work, suddenly she thought about the book she had read and she fell asleep. In her dreams a very old lady comes from her island and tells her, “Lily, I am Marina, the oldest woman in our island. I want to tell you about a dark secret of your life. Come to my house, I will tell about your past, the past about your parents” and suddenly in a shock, she gets up.

In the morning, she quickly dresses up, eats her breakfast and goes in search of the old women, asking one by one she finally finds the house. Lily stepped in the house. The old women come out from her kitchen and say, “Come, Lily, I was waiting for you”. Lily was shocked and in mind, she murmured, “Although she came in my dreams how she knows my name and how she knows the plan of my arrival?” The old women said, “Come here my child, sit beside me”. Lily was a bit uncomfortable but assuming that she is like her grandmother she sat beside her. Lily asked, “Granny, can you please tell me the truth of my past which I am facing from a long time?” Marina said, “Yes! I will but if you promise me not to share this with anyone”. Lily said, “No granny, I promise you that I will never tell anybody about this”. Marina said “Your father and mother they were killed by your...” then someone knocks the door.

It was Charlie uncle. Charlie was from the same island and had a bit of relationship with Lily’s family. Stepping inside the house and pointing towards Lily he said, “Child, I was searching for you everywhere and you are here”. Lily said, "uncle Charlie for what reason you were searching me?" Charlie said, your granny Alice is in high temper and has gone in search of you, better is that you quickly reach home without any more delay. What we will do, we will go to the market to buy some vegetables and fruits and I will drop you at your house and when your granny will return tell her that you had gone to market to buy vegetables and fruits for daily need." They both left from there and headed towards the market. When they reached the market they heard some big and known voice. They saw it was granny Alice who was screaming very loudly. All people were just scared of her and were walking very far from her. At some distance, they took some vegetables and fruits and came home. When granny came home, she saw the home lock was open and Lily was inside the house. She gets angry and says, “Lily, come out”. Lily comes out and says “What happened granny?” Granny says, “Where were you and for what reason you had gone out?” Lily says, “I had gone to the market for bringing things for daily usage”. Granny Alice says, “Ok fine go back to your work. I am hungry bring food, fast!” They both ate and slept.

It was a full-moon night, as usually at a full moon night Lily’s granny used to send Lily to uncle Charlie’s house because her granny was neither a human nor an animal, she was a witch who used cursed lines and sentences to call up all the people she had killed because of the inhumanity. Those all things were seen by Charlie. Alice warned him not to tell this thing to anybody. Charlie came to take Lily with him at midnight when she was in deep sleep. While he was taking Lily he said: “How could you do this being a mother, wife and grandmother and why?” Alice was still quiet. Charlie again said, “How could you be so unpleasant with your family?” Now Alice lost her temper, her eyes turned full white, she moved upwards, and her legs and hands grew bigger in size with long nails. She said, “Go away, let me do my work”. Charlie was a bit scared, he left from there and reached home and led Lily on the bed and went inside.

Due to something Lily woke up and was surprised to see herself at a new place. She went in search of her house with firelight in her hand. House by house she was checking the nameplates. When Charlie came out with his warm coffee and his favorite book “The path of God and Truth”, he saw that Lily was not on the bed and he ran out of the house in search of her.

Finally, Lily found her house, it was full black outside, with cold breeze moving. She saw her granny flying up with other souls. Looking this whole thing she fainted down on the ground and was a bit injured. Charlie came there and took her to his house. He sprinkled some water on her face. When Lily slowly opened her eyes she said: “Uncle Charlie I want to ask you something and you promise me to give detailed and true answers”. Charlie said, “Ok, I will”. Lily asked, “Is my granny a witch? Charlie was shocked knowing that from last many years Lily was unknown about this fact but the day came when she knew it and now he had to tell the truth. “Yes she is a witch and on Full Moon night she leaves you to me because she says some cursed words and sentences that are not good for you,” Charlie sadly said.

"Uncle, tell me one more thing. Who all know this?” she said. Charlie said, “I and Marina were involved in this." Lily asked, "how did you come to know about the black magic granny Alice was doing since long?" Charlie said, “I was your grandfather's friend and was a bit friendly with your grandmother also. When I came to know your grandfather was no more, I was in shock. Your house was full of people, but villagers didn’t know what was going in your house because month by month all your family members were passing away. One night when I was passing by your house I saw only in your house light was glowing very brightly. I came near the window and saw your granny doing black magic tricks. By mistake, a flower vase was broken by me and your granny saw me on that night and warned me not to tell with anyone. Being a witch she had killed your every family members even your pare..." Lily said, “what happened, why did you stop? You said something, pare…which I didn’t get?" Charlie said, “It’s too late, better you sleep now. Your granny must be coming to take you."

Granny Alice came to Charlie’s home and told to leave Lily to her house. When Lily woke up she was in her house. She washed her face and started thinking about her parent. Mind in mind she cried and said why God did like this with me? She again went to wash her tears and looked up at the mirror and saw her mother soul saying “Lily my girl, I am in the guilt of leaving you alone but whatever happens, you have to be strong, though we are not there, our hands are always on your shoulders to support you. She bowed her head down saying, "yes mom" and looked up and saw no one present there. From that night she decided to go in search of her parent’s death reason. It was the last few days left for her Christmas holidays so she decided to give her best try to search the reason of her parent’s death.

One-day granny Alice called Marina and Charlie to her house. Charlie asked, “Alice why you have called us?” Alice in a deep voice said, “I know I have been doing the wrong thing since last many years. I got married at 29 at a very young age. In the beginning, all was going great but after a few months because of the job my husband started ignoring me and paid full attention to his work. I was a bit sad but I did my best to understand him, telling myself that he will surely get free time for me. After a few months, I became pregnant. At that time also he didn’t pay any attention to me. I know work and money both are very much important but not at all bigger than family. When I gave birth to twins a girl and a boy, things were unchanged. My son also after his marriage starts ignoring me and not had time for me.

I was all alone, depressed and sad. I broke down from inside and wanted to come out of from that. Then I thought of going to the black magic teacher and slowly learned everything. At the full moon night, I killed everybody leaving Lily looking at her innocent face. I was happy in my mind that I have given punishment to all of them and never had guilt about it. Yesterday my son and daughter-in-law came in my dream and they both said, “We know the reason for killing us but that was not the right thing you have done with all of us. We are thankful to you for taking care of our daughter. You did this with us but don’t do this with our child. To get relief on this you have to just listen to your pure heart. Just pray and believe in God, believe in yourself, NEVER THE LATE this is also a very nice time to improve in yourself, everything will go nicely and smoothly”.

I have got a lesson from Lily to be motivated. Now I have decided to behave nicely with everyone. I know you will not at all believe me but yes this is only the truth. But the question arises that how to tell Lily about this thing." “You should directly tell her,” said Marina and Charlie. Lily opened the door and came inside. All of them were a bit scared as well as worried. She said, “Oh my god, you all are here and planning for Christmas party, Am I right ??” All cooled down. Alice got up and just hugged Lily and said, “Come here dear, I am going to tell you something so please do not get angry. I am sorry for the mistake Lily that I have made because I am the only culprit who had killed all our family members even your dad and mom”. Lily was in a great shock she said, “Wh-wh –what? Really? But what was the reason?” Alice narrated her the whole story.

Lily said, “Yeah, I can understand in this situation anyone can get sad and angry, but that was not the right way to behave with family members. But I have to meet each and every family member." With some lines, granny calls everybody and the very first time Lily could see her whole family member. All were very happy and at the last, everyone praised Lily for her bravery, confidence, positiveness and motivational behavior and vanished by giving a blessing to Lily.

MORAL: - No matter how late you know your mistake, but the day you will know you can make your life easier and happier. Enjoy your every moment fruitfully. Take the right decision at the right time and the right place. BE BRAVE, BE STRONG, BE MOTIVATED enough and stand forward for your decision. Never lie to anybody though the situation is worse or worst, BE HUMBLE, share the truth. What you give to people and live the same in your life and people will give it back to you.
