(In)Complete Feelings

Prologue

~Daisy~

“I can’t believe you talked me into this?”, I scowl at Sydney who is just innocently smiling at me but I know what is cooking in that stupid brain of hers.

I am looking at the party in Roger’s house. Roger is one of the most popular and hottest guys in our college and getting invited to his parties is a big deal. I mean, how can I blame her! That boy is a perfect eye candy to anyone, with gray eyes, chiseled jaw structure and a body to die for.

“C’mon D! Don’t be such a killjoy” sy pouts looking between me and the Rain.

“You are so getting killed if at all my brother knew about this and I promise you neither I nor Rain will come to help you out of it”, I try to warn her but I am seriously failing to do so.

Sy grins, loops her arms between mine and rain’s. We enter the house and are surrounded by people we barely recognize but we were greeted by many both boys and girls as we all know the reason behind this. We move in to take the beer cup but are startled by the voice belonging to the person because of whom I and my friends are invited to popular people parties - my brother Sam!

“What are you doing here, D?”, Sam asks me.

“I am invited here too Sam, don’t worry I won’t bother you as long as you do the same”, I smile smugly.

I turn around to see that my buddies have left me and went different ways to mingle in this ocean of people. I don’t belong here and I am clearly not in a mood to enjoy party, I take out my phone to send a quick text to Rain and Sydney to tell them that I am taking off. As I turn to leave I am hit by something hard and I close my eyes waiting for humiliation to get hold of me but I don’t hit the floor. I open my eyes to find a very pleased blue eyes belonging to the only person who loves to make my life a living hell.

“You couldn’t survive a night without being in my arms?” Jacob asks with a cocky smile.

“You wish Jacob just let me go idiot”, I grit through my teeth.

“As you wish, Chocolate” Jacob smirks and lets me go.

Before I could control myself, I am dropped to floor on my ass with a thud. I wanted to give that piece of shit some advice but Roger come to my rescue along with Abigail the biggest ‘Bitch’ of our college.

“Are you okay, Daisy?” Roger asks with concern in his eyes but my eyes are on the asshole that is responsible for this. I revert my eyes back on Roger and smile at him as he helps me back on my legs.

“Jacob, baby are you hurt?” Abigail asks him by sliding her manicured hand on his chest and fluttered her fake eyelashes.

“Nah, I am fine, Chocolate here is the one hurt” he points his finger to me but she doesn’t even acknowledge me.

I roll my eyes as jealousy hits me hard because she is touching MY GUY and I can’t stand watching the most disturbing situation going on in here so I turn and take Roger with me to get a nice drink to bury my anger, "Bitch she is going to pay for this later!", I muttered.

“So what are your plans tonight?” Roger smiles at me resting his hands on my hips.

I had too many drinks so I don’t understand one word that is coming out of his mouth so all I do is giggle and pass out on him. After sometime when I open my eyes I look into the most pissed and concerned blue eyes I have ever seen in this world and all I do is smile at him as I know I will be forever safe in these muscular arms before I throw up on him.

“No more drinks for you, Chocolate, this is the last you will do something crazy!” he says as he lifts me up to take me into bathroom to clean.

“You got me worried and pissed for one second there, Chocolate” he kisses my forehead and wraps me in warm embrace and whispers something as I pass out on him again.

~Jacob~

I am about to complete my football practice and return to my house to complete my boring history assignment which is the stupidest subject ever and thanks to my Chocolate I had to take that subject as she is very much interested in it. My phone rings and my best friend's name flashes on the screen. I accept the call with regret it as I can hear so much noise even without the phone being on speaker.

“Jesus! Where are you man it’s too loud to hear!” I yell at him.

“I am at Roger’s party, this guy can throw a crazy party dude, are you joining me or not?” he yells back at me. Before I can reply I hear Sam curses under his breath.

“You got to be kidding me” he yells before the line goes dead.

I couldn’t understand what happened until when I notice a text from Rain.

“Hey J, heads up, going to Roger’s party and your girl is with us”

I just smile as I read the words ‘my girl’. Apart from our parents and Sam, Rain is the only person who knows that I love Daisy more than anything in this world since the day I saw her for the first time in her pigtails and smiling at everyone with her bunny teeth even ‘my Chocolate’ doesn’t know that. I tried many times to tell her but didn’t get the chance as she thinks that irritating her is my hobby. So now that Chocolate is at that jerk’s party, I should pay his house a visit then. As I reach his house I am greeted by the drama queen Abigail Moore, who abandons the guy with whom she is flirting and starts walking towards me but my eyes have spotted the girl who is center of my universe and I start walking towards her, suddenly she turns and collides with my chest before she can hit the floor I hold her in my arms tightly.

She opens her eyes and all I want to do is to look into those hazelnut eyes forever and my gaze slides down to her trembling lips, I just wish to kiss the hell out of her.

“Jacob baby are you hurt?” I hear Abigail ask me sliding her slutty hand on my chest but I can’t take my eyes away from those pink delicious lips and when I look into her eyes I can see anger and her eyes are travelling up and down with Abby’s hand.

Interesting!

Roger comes and asks chocolate if she was okay by moving his hand over her cheeks, now I am pissed. She takes his hand to have a drink and I go after them as I know what happens when she drinks too much. I swear as Sam spots me and Abby with curious eyes when he spots D, Roger he just shakes his head and calls Abby over to the place where he is sitting on couch with my other teammates. I nod at him and follow Chocolate to the kitchen table but Roger spotted me and came to me with a cocky grin on his face.

“Hey man, what’s up?” he asks giving me half hug.

“Nothing, great party by the way” I gesture towards the place around me.

“The night is still young, my brother, have some fun” he just winks at me and leaves me there to go join my very drunk girl. He leans in whispering something into her ears and placing his hands on her hips and all I see is 'red'. She giggles as he leads her into one of his bedroom before he closes the door, I kick the door open hardly startling him.

“Fuck what’s wrong with you man?” he scowls at me.

My breathing is coming hard and I look between him and Chocolate and he steps back from her with his hands in air in surrender. I move towards bed where he placed her and hold her in bridal style, giving him last warning with my eyes get out of this jerk’s house. As I place her in the passenger seat, I send a text to both Sam and Rain telling them that she is with me and we are on our way back to home. I stop the ignition and step out towards passenger side to take my girl to her house. I knock on the door and Jane opens the door letting me in.

“Oh my! What happened, dear?” Jane asks me with concern in her eyes.

“Chocolate had too many drinks, Jane. That’s it, nothing to worry about”, I assured her and Bob who has joined us coming from his study. I carry her to her room with Jane and Bob after me. As I try to leave, Chocolate holds onto my shirt and is not letting go so I look at her parents asking their permission to stay.

“You can stay here Jacob, I will let Sara and Mick know that you are staying the night over here”, Jane smiles at me, kisses my cheek and closes the door behind her.

Chocolate comes into consciousness and throws up on me; I take her into the bathroom to clean the mess and tuck her into bed kiss her on the forehead and whisper the words into her ear which I have been dying to say "Love you".

~Daisy~

Oh my god! My world is spinning and I have the worst headache like my head may explode any second. As I wake up I find aspirin on my bed stand with a note, I take the aspirin and read the note.

“Chocolate, deal with your headache first, take rest and when you feel good please come find me, Panda bear”.

I smile at the nickname he used in the note which he had given to me. I get out of the bed and walk into bathroom to lose myself to a hot spray of shower. After I get dressed my stomach rumbles indicating it’s time to have something into my stomach. I hear voices as I ascend the stairs and when I reach into kitchen all the voices stop at once. I am surprised to find Rain, Sydney along with Sam, my parents all looking at me with worried expressions and I hear some noises outside so I move toward the noises and stop abruptly as I try to process the sight in front of me. I spot Mick and jog to him to ask what is going.

“Hey Mick are you leaving?”, I eye him curiously and pray to god not to make my worst nightmare come to true.

“Yes dear, we are moving out. Didn’t Jacob discuss this with you?” he asks me with worried expression.

“No he didn’t discuss anything with me, can you just tell me why are you moving?”, I plead to him but he just shakes his head and nudges me to go into the house.

I swallow the lump in my throat and move into the house to find the pair of blue eyed guy who takes my breath away with his dimpled cheeks smile reserved only for me. I spot him outside near the pool area as he senses me there behind him, I come in contact with sad eyes and my heart sinks to my stomach.

Shit!

“You asked to meet you, Panda bear”, I tell him and close my eyes so that this nightmare can be gone.

“Yes I have asked you to meet me and stop calling me Panda bear, my name is Jacob” he states as a matter-of-fact.

I place my hand on his shoulder so that I can look into his eyes because my Panda bear will never talk to me like this. He stays stills but removes my hand from his shoulder and the ache in my heart intensifies and tears start rolling down my eyes and I can’t stop them at all.

“So tell me Jake what the hell is going around here?” I yell at as I am very pissed at his arrogant attitude.

He just laughs which makes me angry but I stay where I am because I want him to talk to me.

“You are dumber than I thought you were, D. I wanted to have fun with you the day I saw you with your brother and one day I could have you under me so that I can enjoy your body as much as I like to do it in my dreams” he states with wicked grin which makes me shiver. I stand there waiting for next shoe to drop; he continues talking as I don’t say anything.

“Don’t except another guy to fill my place because I made sure every guy in this place know that you are my sexy tease doll or on second thoughts have another guy to have sex with you if he wants I can give him some pointers on your body"—I slap him hard before I can hear something that will make the knife go deep into my heart.

“I wanted to tell you something from past few months but never got the chance to say, I didn’t know what is gotten into you but I am glad I didn’t say those words to you or else I would have regretted it my whole life. Thank you for showing me your true colors Jacob I hate you, I hate you with all my heart”, with that said I just ran off ignoring everyone calling my name to come back but I couldn’t stay at my house also so I took off where I know I can find some peace.

I know I hurt her a lot but I had to do this or else I could risk her life which I can’t do it even if I am dead. She slapped me hard yes I deserved that but the three words which I excepted from those sweet lips were different from the three words which she has just told me and ran away from me. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling as I watch my love, my life, the girl who can make me kneel before her just by looking at me is running away from me and I can’t do anything rather just whisper I will always love you.

Five years later

~Daisy~

“Mmmmm…” I can smell coffee brewing and I just want to get hold of a nice, strong cup of coffee which will make my senses up and ready for my day. The curtains are pushed aside allowing the first rays of sun into my room which strike on my face making me to cover my eyes with pillow and I hear someone asking me to wake up but I can’t understand any word of it as I am back into my fantasy bubble. Suddenly cold water is splashed on me making me roll onto the floor with a thud.

“What the hell is wrong with you guys?”, I yell at my buddies.

“Woo someone really is a morning person”, Sy smirks at me nudging Rain.

“C’mon, Sleepy head! Today is your first day at your new job, we don’t want you to be late for that”, Rain says pushing me toward the bathroom.

I look at the watch.

Shit!

I have to be there in 15 minutes and I am not at all ready. I don’t want to be late on my first day at my office so I run into bathroom like a maniac brush my teeth, need to have a cold shower. Oh god!!. When I come into the room my formal dress is ironed and ready to go, thanks to Rain. After I get ready, run into the living room and grab my coffee from the Sydney’s hand practically running for the door. I hail a cab and couldn’t imagine what could have happened to my lazy ass if those both are not there in my life and 'mhh-mmm!' Sy perfectly knows how I take my coffee. I reach my destination hurrying myself through the doors into the main lobby and into elevators to reach my office on 30th floor. As the door opens I walk through the elevator to reception office with so much professionalism but failing as I am nervous.

“Hi I am Daisy Jones, today is my joining day here”, I tell her as I hold out my papers to her.

“Hi, Ms. Jones. I am Liza, the receptionist. Please take a seat, Michelle will be here in a few minutes to show you your new work place” she smiles at me warmly and my nerves are calming down slowly.

As I am about to take a seat I notice a very stunning blonde with green eyes walking towards me.

“Hi I am Michelle and I am here to show you your new work place” she smiles at me and leads me to my cubicle hands me over the folders which contains the details I should know to get me started.

“So you can go through the folders learn all you want. Mr. Smith is very specific about his schedule so don’t miss any minor details, I will be in my cubicle if you need anything just let me know and have a nice day on your first day”, she smiles at me leaving me with my papers to go through.

As I was going through the folders, my phone chirps with text messages from Rain, Sydney and Sam I open Sam's text:

“Hey, kid! How you doing on your first day?”

Uhhhh! Sam he knows how angry I get when he calls me a kid, I reply him back.

“Stop calling me a kid, Sam you know I hate it so much and my first day is not bad, how is your football practice coming? The match is this weekend right?”

“Practice is pretty hard and the coach is going crazy on us. Yes it is this weekend don’t miss it. I will call you later”.

“I would'nt miss it for the world, big brother” as I am typing the reply I am startled a male voice behind me

“Wow! I don’t think someone smiled like that seeing my message in years”

I turn around to see a very handsome man in suit smiling at me and all I do is just staring.

“Hey! I am Liam and you are?”, he extends his hand towards me as I am about to state my name, a very possessive male voice states “She is mine, I mean my personal secretary and you don’t need to know her name Liam”.

I don’t need to turn around to see the owner of the voice as my worst nightmare is coming true and my body is heating very quickly, only one man has this effect on me Jacob.

Hey man this pretty lady over here is keeping me nice company, thank you for ditching me yesterday night at the club.

“Daisy can I have a word with you in my office?”, he asks as if he didn’t just embarrass me in front of his friend and walks into his office.

“Sorry about my friend over there, sometimes he can be very cold hearted treating a beautiful lady this way. Well as it is your first day in office, I would like to treat you with couple of drinks after your work what do you say?” Liam looks at me pointedly.

It takes me sometime time to make out his words and seriously after such a “big surprise” I would love to have some drink time. “I like that idea so I will meet after the work Mr….?” I half smile, half embarrassed as I look at him.

He just smiles at him as he states “Sullivan, Mr. Sullivan but you can just call me Liam please I insist”.

“Well Mr. Sullivan I mean Liam it’s very nice to meet you and I am looking forward to the drink you promised me” I smile at him whole heartedly.

I knock the door before I enter and stop in tracks as I am suddenly pinned up against the door by a very pissed man, any other woman is in my place would be terrified but all I am trying to do is stop myself from laughing as I know how possessive Jacob is.

“You. Will. Not. Go. Out. With. Him”, he emphasis every word and now I am the very pissed. How dare of he command me like that!

With all the power in me I push him away from me and tried to compose myself back but failing repeatedly.

Mr. Smith, I don’t think my personal life should be any of your concern and I would appreciate if you will be more professional and let me know the purpose of you calling me into your office.

“Ms. Jones, yes are very right about this and I apologize for my behavior and we will definitely maintain “very professional relationship” from now on, here take this file and I want you to go through each and every detail, provide me the report by end of this day also clear my afternoon I have some personal matters to attend to. Well that’s all for me to say if you don’t have any concerns then I appreciate if you leave”, he states and gets back to his work.

I just stare at me for sometime as I am shocked by this turn of events but recover myself and leave to start my work right away.

~Jacob~

I smile as I realize I have caught my Chocolate off guard in her own game. Did she think two can’t play this game? I lost her once due to my stupidity but I won’t let it happen again and this time I will definitely make her mine. I quickly text Liam and my buddies to join me for lunch this afternoon; I have to make sure he understands where he stands around my Chocolate. I smirk at my phone as I receive his message as I have accepted it to be. Once I gave up on her but now no one will stop me from making her mine! I will let everyone know she is mine even if I have make heaven and hell one!
