Imagination
I had a dream like all others do, Yet this dream was powerful enough to wake me up and make my body sweat. I knew it wasn't the heater because it was broken but my heart couldn't calm down after that restless dream foretelling a story to me, The story began like another...Near the lake and a young girl sat with her beautiful yellow hat humming a sorrowful tune, even with her dress all embroidery with roses and stars she was not cheerful at all, Today was the day her mother died in her sleep, Today of all days where she had no tears to shed on her cold body.
All she could do was scream at her and shake her body wishing that her mother would wake up and sing her melody by the window while brushing her golden locks, But it didn't matter for the funeral ended on a sad note with her rushing out of the chapel in the rain letting the drops fall on her face and do the crying for her. "Mother I haven't even said I loved you yesterday like before, The mirror would mock me for not crying yet I can't help but laugh at it, Oh mother I am your daughter am I not? Then why don't I cry for you as James or Madeline do..." She looked into the lake her red dress all caked in mud and leaves while her Golden locks blew with the wind covering her Blue eyes from the sight of the chapel, Amee Whilhart Daughter of Vala Cournee and Manee Vex, Sister to James And Madeline, Poorest girl there ever was in the town but yet can always be mistaken for as a clown in everyone eyes.
Her mother was a beautiful woman with blonde hair and gorgeous green eyes that if you held a leaf and tried to compare the colours, Her eyes would be lighter like emeralds. Her mother loved to sing near the window about how the world was always watching her and yet never judged her, favorite line replaying in Amee's head "A world without sinners is a world that will never survive, They judge and make us go the right direction without faults of their own." A talented singer and good person yet awful advice whenever she opened her mouth...Amee remembered that her mother's casket was amber instead of brown and the designs on the front was a bird flying and following musical notes, it was the song She composed when she was pregnant with James and Amee never forgot the words as she heard the choir sing it.
"For a soul can not be divided
It will not be guided
Granted for access is a tree made of brown
Your silly head will be stuck in the ground
There's nothing to separate us
For the birds are among us
Watching from higher ground, Not making a sound"
Amee thought it was a weird song but wouldn't judge her mother's talent...She felt something was missing as she dumped her in the water and opened her eyes, There saw a locket made of silver, reaching in she took it out and when she heard the faint sound of a beating heart with gears ticking...She knew finding this locket was trouble and yet stuffed it in her yellow hat and put it on her head as her father called for her, She missed her mother already but this has been a good memory for her.
