Horrible Night

We were all sleeping soundly in the soothing cold of AC.

Till the middle of the night, our eyes caught to deep sleep. Then we realised some weird noise as if utensils are falling, calculating what might be happening, the sound became more roaring, our terrace gate was shaking badly as if someone trying hard to push it & unlock it. The crushing sound of dry leaves made us think at one time it's footsteps. The scenario was taking the soul out of us.

And then electricity is too gone...

My father got up to check outside but it was too gloomy. We were sitting in the room worried, looking for him, then we saw our door was opening slowly making a clenching sound, we hide our face in mom's lap like puppies, hardly gathering any courage to face what's happening still moved our eyes upwards and saw a giant shadow coming towards, we all screamed & that demon too get afraid but when we noticed it was our father, we laughed but our heart seemed to come out of fear. He sat along with us, wiping himself, we asked how he got wet, he frowned looking at us and said it was a thunderstorm, not an alien attack. We looked at each other & tried controlling our giggles in order to escape from daddy's slaps.
