Home Quarantine

Home Quarantine

Today is the 19th day of my quarantine in the home. Sitting on the porch, away from the bedroom looking at the sky and this is now my new world. I am waiting full of hope that the good days will return. When will I be able to move again? The sky that I used to observe while sitting here is very different from the sky of the present time. The Ray of the sun looks blue, transparent, and glittering.

My favorite Bangladesh is the largest delta island in the world, proudly awake in the Gangetic basin across the vast expanse of the Bay of Bengal. Against the backdrop of the roar of the sea, the flowing of innumerable rivers, the greenery of the land, the cultural uniqueness, and the incomparable seasonal diversity, the unique scenery that used to unfold in this country is lost today only because of our whimsy. Even a few days ago, nature has been the victim of various mismanagement and anger of the people of this city. People from all over the world are voluntarily interned inside the house today due to an unannounced order.

Unknowingly, twisted inside of my heart, how long do people see? Not to mention the busy array of noise, constant traffic, and selfishness of the people. The news only brings Death procession.

Agitation all over the world. The violence of an invisible virus.

The United Kingdom, China, the United States, Italy, Iran, and Spain continue to lose lives at a multiplied rate every day.

Today almost all the countries of the world stand on the same platform.

Lockdown and quarantine game everywhere. People of different opinions and paths forget all their differences and all of them are like a flower on the same stalk, everyone agrees on one thing, stay inside the home. Never before has there been so much unity among the people of the world in a common context. Quarantine or voluntary captive life in your own home. Unprecedented sincerity and cordiality within themselves.

There is no modern urban life anywhere. Factory closed. The office is closed the court and everything is closed.

If you look at the houses in the neighborhood, how easily people have surrendered themselves to their Creator.

In such a dazed state, I came out of the house secretly without intimation to my family.

The humility of twilight is like molten gold falling on the tops of living plants. The amount of roughness of the sun in summer seems to have completely disappeared. Today's world is like a strange, unfamiliar planet obsessed with tenderness.

There is an incredible amount of silence all around except for the police and the military patrol. There are no people on the street, no commuting, no call. What a kind of dripping inside my heart in all illusory thoughts!

Oops!

The stupid mind often revolts against itself. Walking in the open, I see the tender little leaves of freshly flowering trees on the sunny road. Watching cars passing me in front. An undisclosed curfew is issued in this blocked city. Although banning outside of all citizens is forbidden, it is incomprehensible to anyone whom I have come out with.

Who stops me from making the wrong move toward the cantonment on the left-hand road?

Suddenly an unknown lady was standing in front of me. I was stunned to see her like a ghost.

 - Hi poet, how are you?

Completely unknown. On top of that, at this forbidden time, she is a very beautiful woman, looking like a foreigner.

Golden-colored hair.

 Quite arranged. Immaculate.

 She called me by name.

It is true that many peoples know me personally. But a foreigner? There can be no reason to know me like this.

 Let's go. I answered involuntarily.

No. Not very good at all.

I did not recognize you. I was surprised and wanted to know.

 Who are you?

 Hey poet. Don't recognize me?

 I'm Kadambini. Her expressionless answer.

Corona Kadambini. People all over the world call me Corona.

I wasn't bothered by her expressionless answer.

There is no day in this world or there is no human who has not once called my name.

I was not ready for such an answer from this lady. The ground began to move from under my feet. Fierce hatred and resentment filled my whole body with the fire of anger. At the moment I was confused.

Corona.

The most terrifying name in the world today.

The most talked about name in the world today.

It is a nightmare for the big countries of the world and their people to deprive their leaders of sleep.

The most pronounced name in the world today.

How many mothers have emptied their chests and are still walking proudly from one end of the world to the other? Holding the throat in the clutches of aggression, the lungs of human civilization are being torn apart in an instant day after day, month after month.

This is a great epidemic!

Seeing me confused, Corona Devi smiled and said again.

 - Poet, trust me. I extend my hand of friendship to you. I have come to you to share some anger. Even though I acknowledge that I'm one of the scariest terrorists in the present world. It's not like that I'm just spreading my paws on the underprivileged. I am touching all including King and the lower level people.

The goddess was stopped in a great pause.

I remember, thinking about how to save myself from the closeness of this Princess.

But upon hearing Corona's fluent message, my fears began to subside. I got used to it and said,

 - Would you please tell me why you came to this world?

Or were you born in a laboratory in the world? Who has created you to destroy human civilization? Tell me the details.

Social distance is very well known in our society nowadays. It was as if I had reached that point without even keeping that distance.

Kadimbini broke the silence and opened her mouth.

Not the poet. I was not born in a man-made laboratory. I have been sent. Your civilized human society, engaged in self-conflict, has been polluting the surrounding environment with unbearable levels day after day.

For this planet called Earth, you have become a terrifying species. You are destroying the environment. This world is not yours alone, it belongs to everyone.

Kadambini is constantly saying the words in a tone of complaint. I am listening to her very philosophical words with the same concentration and attention as I am enjoying a kind of bliss by seeing every flexure of her glamorous body.

As you know well, dear poet. And she turned her gaze on me. I handled myself in a moment and said, I am.

You have the same rights to this world as other species, animals and plants have to this world.

That is why nature sometimes is rude and annoyed to save other children, you can say, to save this planet. One at a time sends a kind of energy to the earth. Their type of rule is different.

I'm astonished by the aesthetics of Kadambini. The hatred that was in my heart slowly began to wane with love. I requested her to sit in the park next to us but she discouraged, saying that the gate of the man-made park is closed. The carpet on the grass near the field, let us sit there.

I am also excited to have a conversation with her. A kind of fascination appeared inside me.

Going a little further, I sat face to face in the green field. The narrow drainage canal is not far away.

Although some of the troops were busy on regular patrols, they did not pay any attention to us.

My whole heart was crying. Images of man-made natural disasters floated through my mind.

Unplanned urbanization is creating slum problems. The reservoirs have been filled, the canals have been occupied. There is no healthy living environment. If the city was built in a planned manner, problems like traffic jams, load shedding, and waterlogging would not have been created. If employment opportunities were created at the village level, people would not go to the city in this way. There are people in closed rooms in the city where light and air do not reach. Darkness descended on my eyes. The frustration of the state gradually began to consume me. I see with my own eyes how unplanned industrialization pollutes the air and water, and noise pollution causes various physical and mental diseases in the people around the industrial plants. Soil is also losing its natural quality due to toxic fumes and industrial waste.

It is true that her words are vibrating in me again and again that we have not planted as many trees as we have cut for our own needs. Woe to himself at every turn of the people. I came to realize that the thoughts of some powerful and selfish people are paying tribute to millions of ordinary people.

 Kadambini sighed and told me,

 - poet.

Your Earth's meteorological system is an integrated balance of energy, chemical actions, reactions, and physical changes. With the increasing rate of greenhouse gas emissions currently in the atmosphere, the world will become the hottest in the last two million years. As a result of the greenhouse effect, the sea level will rise by 30 to 40 centimeters. As a result, a large part of the coastal area, including Bangladesh, is likely to be submerged. The nature of the weather will change. Crops will be submerged, forests will be destroyed, and the water supply will be infected. The amount of wildlife will decrease and people will lose their habitat. Hurricanes will hit more power a few times a year. The rainy area will extend from the equatorial zone to the pole. Bangladesh will become rainier. Crop production and food shortages will be evident. New social, economic, and political problems will arise in the heated world. With a large number of shelterless people, Bangladesh has to face serious problems.

 Kadambini stopped.

I stared at her face helplessly and felt as if I was spinning a rhythm inside me.

The sun is tilted on the western horizon. The sky is blue. What a decoration. It is as if nature has made its own by mixing the sweetness of amazing beauty. This unimaginable combination of day and night is like an unprecedented ballad of reunion and separation. Space and soil sitting face to face in silent mode. Boundless fascination is spreading all around.

This time I broke the silence and said:

 - The people of the world have become much more humane lately. Because of your influence, they are now tolerant of others in nature. They have gradually learned to understand that in this Universe, they have the same right to live as all other animals. There is no chance of persecution on this planet now.

The goddess snatched the words from my mouth and said:

Yes, poet. I will never forget the scene I saw that day.

I also saw that humility of Kadambini was dripping from her whole body. Kadambini continued to talk about the departure of Susan Hellarts.

Suzanne Hallarts, a senior citizen of Belgium. Women over ninety.

She was also admitted to the hospital. But because of the lack of a ventilator, she told the doctor, ‘Give this device to someone who has a long way to go. Who needs the world? He has a lot to give to the world. The Creator has sent us to earth with some responsibilities. Now is the time for young people to fulfill that responsibility. This device is not for me. '

Yet doctors have tried to ventilate her. But Suzanne refused. She says, 'Save it (Ventilator) for the youngest who needs it most. I already have a beautiful life !! "

Suzanne Hallerts died on March 22.

The face of the goddess was covered with black clouds. Her eyes filled with tears. She is impassive. She looks very upset.

Kadambini said with a sigh.

You the humans proved again that you are the ruler of this planet, the best creature of creation. In just three months, you have re-established equality and brotherhood and taken all the steps to balance the rest of creation. This is undoubtedly an example to follow. The purpose for which I was sent has been one hundred percent successful.

 Leave me, goodbye

Before I knew it, Kadambini had swallowed a pill in her hand. At that moment, her body fell to the ground which is covered with green grass.

Even today, like every day, the end of the night is the chirping of birds. The eastern horizon white slowly danced in the dark. The soft rays of the sun spread upwards. As soon as I opened my eyes, my body and mind were filled with a kind of peace. This morning is not as sad as any other day. There is no news of any new virus infection in any country in the world. With the end of house arrest, people have come out of their homes with new hope. And people have learned a lot from this.

We Understood, that people are different in terms of religion, culture, profession, financial status, fame, and power, but naturally, every human being is equal. In this world, anyone famous or powerful can fall into a difficult crisis at any time, for example, Tom Hanks, Prince Charles, and Boris. The resulting virus has proved how meaningless man-made borders are! Today, guarding the country's borders to prevent infiltration has turned into a farce.

The corona outbreak has put an end to the border demarcation and the whole world has been put on a virus map. From this, it can be easily inferred that we are all very much connected to each other and everything in the world is bound by a single bond. The real work of man is to stay, to save people, to relieve human suffering. And to survive, one only needs a little food, water, and medicine. Today's superpower is learning from this defeat of men to the tiniest living organism, all our pride, and energy must be kept under control. Although it is a matter of great emotion, it is true that we have the opportunity to learn from this situation. Now is the time to forget all differences and rebuild a new world by rectification ourselves.

In our short life, we have been busy with ourselves by capturing ourselves in the net of selfishness. We have neglected our families. The longing for a child could not make us go home. We did not give time to our loved ones. Today, the virus, with its invisible power, has brought us back to our loved ones. We have revolutionized the world of perception by building new strong relationships with loved ones. It's time to dump her and move on. We are the only platform, and inevitably for the people.
