He Was A Passer-by
He Was A Passer-by
I heard his voice on youtube for the first time. The pain in his voice was relatable. The lyrics reflected his mental state, and I got attracted to his melodious voice. In the description, I found out his Instagram handle. I was like a stalker, stalking his Instagram. Even I found him on Facebook.
One day I messaged him on Instagram- "Hi, your new song is amazing, keep up the good work" with a smiley. I wasn't expecting any reply from his side. But then in the evening, I got a message from his end- "Thank you. That was unbelievable. I was so happy to receive a reply from him.
Then our conversation started.
He- Where do you belong from?
Me- I'm from Minnesota. I found you very serious in each one of your songs. If I become this serious, you'll find me in the ICU the next day.
He- What? Oh my god, let me laugh at this first, that was so funny. (I can imagine he must be laughing at this joke of mine.
Me- Yup, you should smile like this every time.
There was silence for some time. Maybe, he was looking at my Instagram profile. At the same moment, I received a notification for his follow back. I was already following him, and now he was requesting for a follow back. I got butterflies in my stomach. I never had this thought that he would ever follow back me.
Now he was in my mind now and then. We didn't talk too much but shared beautiful memories.
He always shared sad posts and songs on his Instagram stories. From the comment section, I got to know he was heartbroken. Also, I was in the same situation, because of which, his songs were very relating to me.
One day I was sad and thinking about my previous relationship.
Me- Why do we need to suffer so much with a broken heart.
He- Don't think about the past, focus on your studies, and make a good a career.
But he is stuck somewhere in his past.
The next day we had a rough conversation about his past. I made him upset, and we didn't talk for a long time. After a few moments, he unfollowed me, in a rage, even I unfollowed him. Days passed, but his thoughts didn't vanish. I wanted to share his pain, but things went in the wrong direction, and everything changed.
After a few days, he released his new song. I messaged him- " Your recent song is heart touching" I sent him the logo, which I designed for him. He liked the design, but by the same evening, he disabled his account. I understood he wanted to stay away from me. Then after I didn't disturb him ever, because he was only a passer-by for me.
