'It's too much responsibility and work! How would you manage it single-handed?' The words reeled in her head as she climbed the stairs with the heavy bags in hand. Opening the door, she was confronted by the mess. No amount of reading articles on google and talking to people could prepare her for this. Bits of newspaper strewn, clothes scattered and water spilled on the floor, on the verge of tears, exasperated, she dropped the bags and crashed on the sofa. She opened her eyes to a wagging tail drowned in a red shirt lodged on her feet. True, no amount of googling could prepare her for the burst of laughter and cuddling that followed.
