Forever

The bright lights of New York City twinkled like diamonds as I stepped into the grand ballroom. I had been looking forward to this wedding all week, a much-needed break from my grueling dance practice schedule.

As I mingled with the other guests, my eyes landed on him - the best man, standing tall and confident beside the groom. His rugged charm and piercing blue eyes drew me in, but I quickly pushed the thought aside. I had no time for distractions.
